"Bring me a few more cold dishes; one plate of peanuts isn't quite enough to satisfy me," Vegeta ordered.
"A-all right." Korin was speechless, but he quickly smashed a cucumber and tossed a plate of shredded potatoes for Vegeta.
With these two cold dishes added to the mix, Vegeta felt much more comfortable as he drank.
Vegeta finished another cup in no time.
Vegeta checked his own combat power.
Combat Power: 57,000!
Is this increase completely random?
He continued to drink.
Another three hours passed.
The bottle of Ultra Divine Water had hit the bottom.
"That's it?" Vegeta asked.
"Well... it takes a while to regenerate automatically... the main thing is that you drank it too fast," Korin said, wiping away sweat.
This kid is really treating the Ultra Divine Water like booze.
The problem is... you drank so much, and you didn't die?
Are you even human?
Vegeta felt smug.
Having drunk an entire bottle of Ultra Divine Water, Vegeta's combat power had now reached the height of 120,000.
He wondered if he could keep drinking this stuff indefinitely.
"That's not right, is it? How come I remember this Ultra Divine Water being enough for many people to use?" Vegeta narrowed his eyes at Korin.
Vegeta remembered that in Dragon Ball GT, the people controlled by Baby's eggs were cured of those eggs by using the Ultra Divine Water.
That was the population of an entire planet.
Yet, after he drank just this little bit, it was already gone.
"You've already drunk two pounds of it..." Korin wiped his sweat. "This flask... bah, this bottle of Ultra Divine Water takes about three days to automatically generate a full bottle..."
"Forget it." Vegeta didn't dwell on it too much.
Mostly because Vegeta was feeling a bit tipsy.
Unknowingly, he had downed two pounds of it.
Furthermore, Vegeta guessed that the Ultra Divine Water in Dragon Ball GT was likely used after being diluted.
Or perhaps, by that era, Korin had upgraded this bottle, allowing it to generate the Ultra Divine Water at a faster rate.
"That's enough for today." Vegeta nodded in satisfaction, stood up, and patted Korin on the shoulder.
Korin was speechless.
"I'm taking this bottle of Ultra Divine Water with me, you don't mind, do you?" Vegeta asked.
Korin: "..."
"If I said I minded... would you change your mind?" Korin asked.
"No," Vegeta said.
Korin didn't want to talk anymore.
Did he even need to ask?
You're just going to take it anyway.
Vegeta packed away the bottle of Ultra Divine Water.
Vegeta wanted to see exactly how much he had to drink before his combat power stopped increasing.
As he was about to leave, Vegeta turned his head and gave Korin one last deep look.
"Is there something else?" Korin asked.
"I just remembered, share some of your Senzu Beans with me," Vegeta called out.
"You even know about the Senzu Beans..." Korin sighed. There was no point in hiding anything, so he went downstairs and brought up a jar of Senzu Beans. "Take whatever you want."
"Good, then I won't stand on ceremony." Vegeta truly had no intention of being polite; he grabbed the jar and flew off Korin Tower.
Korin: "..."
Korin was on the verge of tears.
I told you to take what you wanted, not to clean me out.
You could have at least left me two beans.
Vegeta wobbled as he flew away.
One minute later.
Vegeta returned to Bulma's home, clutching a jar of Senzu Beans.
"Honey, you're back!" Bulma rushed over to him.
Great!
You're finally back.
If you weren't here, who would I go on my honeymoon with tomorrow?
I was just thinking about how to skip class tomorrow.
And then you just flew off.
Bulma excitedly stepped forward and grabbed Vegeta's hand.
"Yeah, I'm back." Vegeta nodded, then patted his head.
I feel a bit dizzy...
Is this Ultra Divine Water really that potent?
"What's wrong with you?" Bulma asked.
"It's nothing, I just drank too much of this stuff—two pounds of it," Vegeta said.
"This... what is this?" Bulma was stunned.
"Ultra Divine Water," Vegeta replied truthfully.
"Is it some kind of delicious wine?" Bulma blinked. "Look at you, you can't even walk straight."
"Yeah, I'm hammered," Vegeta said.
"Honestly, I don't like a husband who only knows how to drink all day!" Bulma pouted, looking displeased.
Vegeta: "..."
"By the way, what are you holding in your hand?" Bulma asked again.
"Senzu Beans. Eat one, and I guarantee you won't be hungry for ten days," Vegeta said.
"What is this... it just looks like ordinary beans." Bulma grabbed a handful of Senzu Beans, looked at them, decided they didn't look very tasty, and dropped them.
"Bulma, I'm going over there to take a nap," Vegeta said to her, pointing toward a lounge chair in the distance.
"Does that mean you're not leaving?" Bulma asked, sounding a bit excited.
"Not for now," Vegeta nodded and began walking toward the lounge chair.
"That's great! Let's go on our honeymoon tomorrow," Bulma clapped her hands in excitement.
Vegeta: "..."
What the hell kind of honeymoon.
You're a four-year-old brat, yet you know so much.
But I have no interest in going on a honeymoon with someone as young as you.
We'll talk about that once you've grown up.
Vegeta ignored Bulma and continued to wobble straight toward the lounge chair.
Damn it...
I really did drink too much earlier.
Right now, I feel like my entire body is about to burn up.
If I end up drinking myself to death...
I'd be speechless.
Should I take my head off and regenerate it before the toxins reach my brain?
Vegeta thought about it, but ultimately decided against it.
That would be too much of a waste.
I drank so much of it, after all; perhaps once all this Ultra Divine Water is fully digested, my combat power will see a qualitative leap.
My current combat power of 120,000 is just the surface.
I want to see exactly how much energy I have hidden away.
I am going to draw out all the latent energy in this body.
I wonder if it will reach the same effect as the potential unlock performed by Old Kai?
It might actually be possible.
After all, I have already consumed two pounds of Ultra Divine Water.
Vegeta knew that the only reason he hadn't died was largely due to his immortal body.
If not for the blessing of an immortal body, Vegeta felt he would have been poisoned to death long ago.
In fact, even now, the lethal toxins of the Ultra Divine Water had already ravaged Vegeta's body beyond recognition.
However, Vegeta possessed the power of regeneration, and through his own formidable regenerative abilities, he was constantly repairing his body.
With every repair of his body, Vegeta's strength would increase a little more.
Vegeta lay down on the lounge chair over there, letting his body regenerate and repair itself on its own.
Immediately after, Vegeta tilted his head to the side and fell fast asleep just like that.
