The image containing Vegeta gradually shrank.
Eventually, it narrowed down until it was contained within a crystal ball.
Outside the crystal ball was a bright, cunning, and beautiful eye.
It was none other than Vados.
Vados was observing Vegeta through the staff in her hand.
Champa was watching from the side.
"Lord Champa, what are you looking at? It's as if you can actually see anything," Vados said with a smile.
Champa felt a sting in his heart.
"Ahem... what is that brat Vegeta doing?" Champa asked.
"Oh my, oh my... he just drank a type of poison..." Vados wiped away a bead of sweat.
"Poison?" Champa was stunned, unable to process the information for a long while.
"It is a poison that can enhance a mortal's latent energy... he has already downed two jin of it," Vados said, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
"This... this kid has lost his mind..." Champa shook his head.
"His methods are certainly crazy enough," Vados nodded, "but because of this, his strength has already increased tenfold."
"Tch, only tenfold? Still far too weak," Champa snorted. "This idiot, does he not know that training with us would yield twice the result with half the effort?"
"Perhaps once he wakes up and the poison fully takes effect, his energy will increase by many more multiples," Vados speculated.
"Even if it increases another hundredfold, he wouldn't be enough for me to flick with a single finger," Champa huffed.
"Comparing yourself like that takes the fun out of it, Lord Champa," Vados smiled. "After all, you are the most powerful God of Destruction in our universe."
"Heh heh, I love hearing that," Champa said, excitedly placing his hands on his hips.
"Lord Champa, shall we continue to stay in Universe 7?" Vados asked.
"It is time to go back; we have been out for three months already," Champa replied. "It's truly great that Beerus is asleep; I can do whatever I want in his universe."
"Hee, who could say otherwise?" Vados giggled.
"Whoosh! Whoosh!"
The two transformed into streaks of light in different colors, speeding off in the direction of Universe 6.
As they flew, Champa suddenly thought of something.
"Wait a minute, did we overlook a problem?" Champa asked.
"What problem, Lord Champa?" Vados asked.
"Didn't we say back then? If that brat Vegeta could find you, you would agree to marry him," Champa said. "If we bring him over after a while, won't he know our location? Are you really going to marry him then?"
"It was just a joke, did you take it seriously, Lord Champa?" Vados rolled her eyes.
"It's not that I took it seriously, it's that the brat Vegeta took it seriously, right?" Champa laughed.
"We'll see when the time comes; he still has decades to grow up," Vados smiled. "Besides, hasn't he already found true love on Earth?"
"Hm? True love? On Earth?" Champa was dazed for three seconds.
"Yes, yes, he met a little girl his own age on Earth, and the little girl affectionately calls him 'husband'," Vados smiled.
"Pfft..."
Champa burst out laughing.
Vados glanced sideways at Champa.
What are you laughing at?
"Vados, I didn't expect you to be cheated on so quickly," Champa danced with joy.
Vados: "..."
"But then again, don't forget the pinky swear that brat Vegeta made..." Champa chuckled.
Vados was speechless.
Pinky swear for a hundred million years, whoever breaks it has to go eat...
"When the time comes, do you really intend to let the Grand Minister go... and... do that?" Champa asked.
"Do what?" Vados asked, feigning ignorance.
"Eat it," Champa said.
"Oh my, oh my, I have already recorded it, and I will hand it over to the Grand Minister when the time comes," Vados said with a smile.
Champa wilted instantly.
Vados, you play dirty.
Earth.
Capsule Corp headquarters.
"Bulma, isn't that Vegeta? Did he fly back again?" Panchy asked curiously.
"Yes, Mom, he's back, and he said he won't be leaving for a while," Bulma said excitedly. "So I've decided, I'm going on a honeymoon with Vegeta tomorrow."
Panchy: "..."
You're a four-year-old brat, what kind of honeymoon are you going on...
"Bulma, actually, I'd suggest you take Vegeta to kindergarten for your honeymoon instead," Panchy proposed.
"Mom! No way! I want him to take me flying in the sky!" Bulma huffed indignantly.
"Suit yourself..." Panchy was speechless.
It's just kindergarten, why are you so resistant to it?
"Clatter!"
Just then, the flask in Vegeta's arms—no, the bottle of Ultra Divine Water—rolled out of his arms because of his poor sleeping posture.
"Huh? Is this... a flask?" Panchy stepped forward and picked up the bottle of Ultra Divine Water.
"Hmph, not learning anything good at such a young age! Knowing how to drink when he's this small, aliens really don't know how to behave," Bulma pouted, looking unhappy. "If he's still this drunk every day when he grows up, I'm divorcing him!"
Panchy: "..."
You talk just like a little adult.
Panchy shook the bottle.
"There's still quite a bit of wine inside, it should taste pretty good. I'll add it to your father's dinner tonight," Panchy said, humming a little tune as she walked away with the bottle of Ultra Divine Water.
"Mom, that's someone else's stuff, can you not just touch other people's things?" Bulma said.
"What are you saying, Bulma? Isn't Vegeta our live-in son-in-law?" Panchy said with a smile. "It's just a little bit of his wine."
Bulma was speechless.
That evening at dinner.
An ambulance wailed as it sped over, rushing Bulma's parents to the hospital.
Ultra Divine Water poisoning.
Bulma was so worried she cried. Since she couldn't wake Vegeta up no matter what, she had to call her sister and follow the ambulance to the hospital.
Tights quickly made a trip to the hospital, only to find that the doctors had already issued a critical condition notice, leaving her speechless and choked with tears.
Afterward, Tights brought Bulma back home and left a robot at the hospital to keep watch.
Since their parents were now in the intensive care unit, the doctors said they would need to lie there for at least three days before they might wake up.
There was no real point in staying there right now.
Better to get Bulma settled first...
"Sister, is it easy for me? A four-year-old child running around doing everything..." Bulma sighed.
"Bulma, you've worked hard," Tights said, wanting to cry but having no tears left.
Bulma looked at her sister, then at the strange-looking fellow following beside her.
