"Wahahahaha..." Champa burst into laughter, doubling over as soon as he understood what was going on.
"Well... you'd better hurry up and grow, little boy. We'll talk about it when you're older." After a brief moment of stunned silence, Vados winked at Vegeta.
"Really? It's a promise, then." Vegeta held out his pinky. "Let's seal it with a pinky swear."
"All right, it's a promise." Vados nodded and held out her pinky too.
Vegeta and Vados hooked their pinkies together.
"Pinky swear, cross your heart, a hundred million years! Whoever breaks it has to be the other one's dad and eat shit!" Vegeta declared solemnly as they hooked their pinkies.
Vados: "..."
That was one hell of an oath.
"Pfft..."
Champa burst out laughing again.
That oath was enough to make the Grand Minister eat a turd, wasn't it?
He'd actually gone and made fun of the Grand Minister...
"Mm. Starting today, you're my wife," Vegeta said.
"Oh, my, you're only five years old, aren't you, little boy?" Vados wiped away a bead of sweat.
"My name isn't Little Boy. It's Vegeta," he replied.
"All right, all right, little Vegeta." Vados humored him. "Come find me when you're grown up. If you can find me, I might consider marrying you. Hee-hee..."
"Muah..."
As she spoke, Vados planted a kiss on Vegeta's cheek.
Then Vados looked up at Champa and gave him a slight nod.
"Whoosh!"
The next moment, Champa and Vados flickered and vanished from the spot.
The two of them had left.
"Vados, you weren't serious, were you?" Champa asked, giving her a sidelong glance.
"What, Lord Champa?" Vados asked, startled.
"About marrying that brat, of course," Champa said.
"Oh, my, I was just teasing a child. Do you think I could be serious about something like that?" Vados replied with a smile. "That little boy looked pretty cute, and he had a certain charm to him. I couldn't help teasing him a little."
"Fair enough... When he grows up, he probably won't be able to find you anyway." Champa nodded. "You're so devious, Vados. That man named Vegeta will grow up waiting to marry you, only to search the whole universe and never find you! You'll have crushed the poor man's heart."
"What are you talking about, Lord Champa? He's such a little boy. He'll have forgotten all about me by the time he grows up." Vados shook her head with a smile.
"But then again, what if he really does find you?" Champa asked thoughtfully, resting his chin in his hand.
"If he really finds me... then I suppose we're meant to be." Vados smiled.
"You're not really going to marry him, are you?" Champa asked.
"Hee-hee... We'll see when the time comes." Vados giggled. "It might never happen, so why talk about it so much?"
"Let's go try some other snacks over there," Champa suggested.
"Sure." Vados nodded.
Vegeta rubbed the cheek Vados had kissed.
Then he held his fingers beneath his nose and sniffed.
She smelled so good...
Was that what an Angel smelled like?
She wanted me to find her when I grew up?
Don't worry.
I'll find you for sure.
But before that, I have to become the strongest in the universe.
First, let me see how well I can get along with this body.
"Whoosh!"
Vegeta shot into the sky and sped toward where Cui was.
Cui's spaceship skidded through the air several times before crashing back down into the center of the city, destroying the Beerus Statue.
Cui had been knocked around so badly that he was left dizzy and disoriented.
What confused Cui most was the chicken leg in his mouth.
A half-eaten chicken leg.
Who the hell had bitten into this chicken leg?
Why was it inside my spaceship?
Cui shook his head hard, trying to clear it.
Then Cui shot straight into the sky, bursting through the spaceship and emerging high above it.
"Damn you, Vegeta!" Cui blamed him for everything that had happened.
Cui's eyes bulged with rage, and his whole body trembled as he activated the Scouter over his eye and searched all around for Vegeta.
"Well, look who it is. A little toad." Vegeta flew over from far away, smiling at Cui.
Vegeta recognized Cui at a glance.
Wasn't this the little fry Vegeta would take out with a single move in the future?
Still, that guy's battle power wasn't bad in the future. It apparently reached 18,000.
"Vegeta! You dare come back!" Cui was delighted to see him, but also a little surprised.
With Vegeta's current battle power, he was a thousand points weaker than me. He should've run away immediately.
Or he could've tried sneaking up on me while I wasn't paying attention.
But this guy actually dared to show himself right in front of me.
Saiyans really were arrogant.
The two hovered high in the sky, facing each other.
Quite a few spectators had gathered below, all looking up at the two Saiyans and Cui in the sky.
"Isn't that... one of the Frieza Force?"
"Looks like it... Judging by their clothes, they must be with the Frieza Force..."
"Planet Fafde is an enterprise owned by Frieza, after all."
"What are they doing? Are they going to fight here?"
The spectators murmured among themselves.
In the distance,
Champa and Vados had also suddenly noticed what was happening.
"Vados, that's your future husband, Vegeta," Champa said with a smile. "Looks like he's about to fight that guy."
Vados looked over.
"That toad-looking fellow seems a little stronger than your husband," Champa said with a grin. "Tsk... You've only just gotten a husband, and now you're about to be a widow?"
Vados: "..."
Vados looked at Vegeta, then at Cui.
She quickly assessed the situation. Sure enough, Vegeta was a little weaker than Cui.
If they really fought, that gap could be fatal.
Looks like the little guy was in danger.
"Let's go take a look too. I want to see what your future husband can do." Champa grinned so broadly that his mouth stretched almost to his ears.
"Thwack!"
Vados swung her Scepter and struck Champa right on the forehead.
A bump immediately rose on Champa's head.
"What was that for?" Champa glared at her.
"Oh, my, the Scepter swung by itself and hit you by accident." Vados giggled.
