"Hmph, you've got some nerve!" Champa snorted. "I was just joking, and you took me seriously."
"Hehe, didn't I tell you? You shouldn't joke around with girls." Vados smiled.
"Are you a girl?" Champa rolled his eyes. "You've been alive for over a hundred million years..."
"What did you just say, Lord Champa?" Vados's face darkened, and she glared at him.
"Nothing, nothing... We'd better hurry and watch your future husband's—cough, cough—Vegeta's fight with that toad." Champa hastily changed his tune.

They moved in a flash and quickly found a more advantageous spot.

Vegeta and Cui faced each other.
"Vegeta, you're not getting away today." Cui snorted, his face full of boundless resentment.
"What did you say?" Vegeta asked.
"I said you're not getting away today. This place will be your grave!" Cui burst out laughing.
"You should stop talking. You've lost your teeth. Doesn't the air whistle through your mouth when you speak?" Vegeta sighed.
Cui felt as if he'd just taken a ten-thousand-point critical hit.
"Which bastard ambushed me with a chicken leg? He'd better hope I never find him!" Cui fumed.
"Someone who could punch through your spaceship with a chicken leg and knock out several of your teeth without killing you on the spot must be very powerful," Vegeta said. "You should be praying that you never run into him."
Cui froze for several seconds, then suddenly realized that Vegeta had a point.
That guy who hit me with a chicken leg must have been strong.

I just checked around with my Scouter.
I'm the strongest person on this planet.
I can do whatever I want here.
How could that guy who ambushed me with a chicken leg possibly be my match?
Cui shook his head, deciding that none of that mattered for now.
The important thing now was... to give Vegeta a good thrashing and let off some steam.
"Hmph, enough useless talk. I'll teach you a lesson and take out my anger on you!" Cui sneered.
"Do you really think you're my match?" Vegeta smiled.
"Vegeta, I hope you understand the situation." Cui pointed at the Scouter over his eye. "Take a good look at the readings. My power level is a thousand higher than yours! Oh? You trained aboard the spaceship? Your power level went up by three hundred... So the gap is only seven hundred now! You're still no match for me with a seven-hundred-point difference!"
"Is that so?" Vegeta's expression grew serious.
This was also Vegeta's first fight since crossing over.

"Enough talk! Let's begin." Vegeta sneered.

A blazing bolt of energy roared toward Vegeta.

Vegeta swatted it aside with the back of his hand.
Just then, Cui moved and rapidly closed the distance between them.
Vegeta immediately sped up too, ducking lightly to evade Cui's punch.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The two clashed fiercely in the air.
For a while, they seemed evenly matched.
They fought for about three minutes.

Vegeta launched an uppercut at Cui's chin.
Smack!
Cui reacted quickly and pressed his hand down.
With a muffled thud, Vegeta's fist struck Cui's palm.
"Not bad, Vegeta," Cui snorted. "That three-hundred-point increase has narrowed the gap a little! But it's still nowhere near enough!"

Cui grabbed Vegeta's arm and dragged him rapidly downward.

Vegeta slammed into the planet's surface, leaving a crater in the ground.

"Vados, aren't you going to help your future husband?" Champa chuckled.

Champa hurriedly moved away from Vados.

Cui promptly spat out a mouthful of sour liquid.
Vegeta carried Cui up into the sky.

Vegeta moved in a flash, appearing directly above Cui.
"Hi-yah!"
Vegeta hooked a foot over his head and kicked Cui in the face.
Cui plummeted from the sky.
Just as Cui was about to hit the ground,
Cui spread his arms slightly, and energy immediately spread from his body.
Smack!
Cui stopped about a meter above the ground.
