When Vegeta turned into a Great Ape, the crowd watching the fight immediately panicked.
The sight of such a colossal beast left everyone trembling with fear.
Quite a few people quickly realized what was going on.
"So this kid's a Saiyan!"
"No wonder his tail looked so familiar!"
"So he's a Saiyan... Saiyans are evil through and through. They destroyed our planet!"
"I heard his name's Vegeta... Isn't he the Saiyan prince?"
Their discussion immediately reached Champa and Vados.
"Vados, the race your future little husband belongs to doesn't have the best reputation," Champa said with a grin.
"That's right," Vados replied with a nod, not elaborating.
After turning into a Great Ape, Vegeta immediately took stock of his body.
Just as expected, his physical strength had increased tenfold.
He could feel the explosive power coursing through him.
I feel like I could smash this planet to pieces with one punch.
Vegeta was relieved to find that transforming into a Great Ape hadn't restored the original Vegeta's thoughts.

The next moment, Vegeta looked toward Cui, who was fleeing at top speed.

Vegeta turned into a blur and raced after him.
In an instant, he caught up with Cui and appeared right in front of him, blocking his path like a mountain.
Cui's face went deathly pale, and his whole body shook.
"Cui, didn't you know that when we Saiyans turn into Great Apes, our fighting power increases tenfold?" Vegeta said with a smile.
"That's impossible! You can create an Artificial Full Moon!" Cui stammered, trembling. "Before coming to this planet, I even checked when it would have a full moon! It won't be full for at least another six days!"
"It's not strange for a few Saiyans to be able to create an Artificial Full Moon. Aren't you supposed to know a lot about us Saiyans?" Vegeta said, smiling at Cui.
To Vegeta, Cui looked like a tiny little thing.
"Cui, why don't you use your Scouter and check my fighting power?" Vegeta asked with a grin.
"You... You..." Cui was stunned. He instinctively pressed the button on his Scouter.
The numbers on the display immediately began climbing at a dizzying speed.
"Fighting power, eight thousand... nine thousand... ten thousand... twenty thousand..." Cui stammered.
Bang!
Before he could finish, the Scouter exploded on the spot.
That model of Scouter could only register a maximum reading of twenty thousand.
Vegeta's fighting power had already reached seventy thousand.
Cui was completely panicked, cold sweat pouring down his face and body.
"Um... Vegeta... I was just joking with you earlier... I hope you don't mind," Cui said with a strained smile, already trying to suck up to him.

"Huh? Lord Frieza?" Cui had a sudden idea and hurriedly pointed behind Vegeta, shouting.
Vegeta didn't even flinch.
Frieza?
As if Frieza would be here.
Besides, what could Frieza do even if he showed up?
I've still got one trump card left to play.
Champa and Vados are still here watching the show.
If Frieza really does show up, I don't mind getting on my knees and sucking up to Vados.

Vegeta opened his enormous mouth and fired a blast of energy that engulfed Cui.

Cui was instantly reduced to dust, beyond dead.
After finishing him off, Vegeta pointed at the moon in the sky.
The Artificial Full Moon descended rapidly and appeared in Vegeta's hand.
Crack!
Vegeta absorbed the energy of the Artificial Full Moon into his body.
Whoosh!
The next moment, Vegeta's body rapidly shrank, returning to its normal size.
Then he stuck his hands in his pockets and snorted.
The scene fell deathly silent.
Everyone there except Champa and Vados was stunned.
Champa and Vados quickly came back to their senses as well.
"That kid... he can't even bear to waste a little energy. He had to reclaim it," Champa said with a shake of his head.

"Never mind. He belongs to Universe 7, after all. It wouldn't be appropriate to take him back with us." Champa thought of Vegeta's origins and shook his head decisively.
"No, Lord Champa, you shouldn't look at it that way." Vados covered her mouth, smiling. "You should think of it like this: while Lord Beerus is asleep, we sneak him away and train him into someone powerful. Wouldn't it be amusing when Lord Beerus finally wakes up and realizes what's happened?"
Champa said nothing.
He stared at Vados without blinking.
She's absolutely right.
