Powerful psykers can foresee future dangers, allowing them to evade them and choose the most favorable timeline.

Take Mephiston, Chief Librarian of the Blood Angels Chapter in the 41st millennium, for example. He possesses formidable precognitive abilities, capable of foreseeing attacks from Chaos forces and the Tyranid Swarm, even predicting the exact number of enemies.

In his most absurd battle, Mephiston could even summon his future and past selves to join the fray, forming a trinity.

He could use his immense psychokinetic power to crush the skulls of every Ork on half a planet simultaneously; such combat prowess far exceeds that of the Adeptus Custodes.

It is easy to see how powerful psychic abilities are for augmenting and assisting in combat! Without exaggeration, the advantages of psychic power are even better than ki, though utilizing such power carries immense risks.

Magnus, known as the greatest human psyker beneath Emperor and the one who could replace Him upon the Golden Throne, had foreseen everything on the eve of the Battle of Prospero, even before Leman Russ arrived. Some of his own librarians had also sensed it, only to be killed by their own Primarch.

Although Leman Russ was not a master psyker like Magnus, he was not without psychic power, being a soul of a lesser god manifested from the Warp.

During the Battle of Prospero, Leman Russ had indeed wielded psychic power.

The Primarchs all exhibited, to varying degrees, a premonition of danger or glimpses of the future, with the Archangel even directly witnessing the future of his own death.

"Russ, you saw something, didn't you? A psychic premonition?" Axis asked.

"That's right! I saw something that surprised me. My father, Emperor, is a man who despises deception, and this thing seems to be of great importance to Him. My brain was screaming warnings while you were inside picking out items, though I don't know if it's the kind of psychic sense you speak of," Leman Russ replied, shaking his head.

His own ability was inconsistent; back when he was raised by a wolf mother, this warning sense had helped him dodge many crises.

He had felt a premonition the moment his adoptive father found him and his wolf mother was killed, and he had felt the same in the days leading up to Emperor's arrival.

Once or twice might be a coincidence, but if it happened countless times, it could not be ignored.

"In that case, I understand, Russ. We will take everything in this spaceship except for the briefcase," Axis finally decided to trust the Wolf King.

Compared to Emperor, his own wisdom was insufficient, and his fishing tactics would likely only provoke His dissatisfaction.

After all, he was just an ordinary person before transmigrating, while Emperor was a being who had lived for tens of thousands of years. In terms of wisdom and observation, Emperor was undoubtedly the pinnacle of the galaxy.

Playing little tricks in front of Him was truly unwise; rather than resorting to schemes, it was better to be open and generous, which would be more likely to earn Emperor's favor.

"Axis, you must remember one thing: from today on, you are a child born and raised on our planet Fenris. I have issued a gag order to the tribesmen who know your origins. That spaceship of yours was something I found in some ruins; you did not bring it here. This time, I will be the one to request your custody from Emperor. You must not interrupt, understand?" The Wolf King Leman Russ squatted in front of Axis and said meaningfully.

From those psychic images, he had seen many things; he had to protect his little Wolf Cub well!

This matter had to be negotiated between him and Emperor; Axis must not speak, for he was but a child now.

Axis nodded upon hearing this, obeying Leman Russ's instructions.

While the two were talking, a dozen massive Imperial landing craft descended near the tribe. These colossal steel constructs immediately drew the attention of the tribe, who had never seen such iron giants before.

After the hatches opened, a large group of Space Marines, standing about 2.2 meters tall and clad in heavy Power Armor with the Imperial Aquila emblazoned on their chests, stepped out.

A squad of Space Marines approached Leman Russ and knelt on one knee.

"Salutations, great Primarch. I am your gene-son, from the Sixth Legion. Welcome home," the kneeling Space Marine said with slight agitation.

The return of their Primarch was a joyous occasion for the entire Legion; his return meant they finally had a true Legion Master!

The great Primarch could boost the combat effectiveness of the entire Legion just by sitting there!

"I am quite surprised to suddenly have so many sons, but since I have returned, I will lead you well, for the sake of all humanity," Leman Russ said to the unfamiliar gene-sons before him.

Suddenly having a group of such large sons gave him a strange feeling.

Axis pressed the Scouter on his eye, and a series of beeps rang out!

He was quite curious about the combat power of the Space Marines.

A combat power of 65 appeared before him, more than ten times stronger than an ordinary human, whose combat power should be around 5.

Axis scanned other Sixth Legion Space Marines nearby and found the highest was around 93, with most ranging between 65 and 80.

An original Space Marine, without Power Armor, had a punching force of just over a ton, so this combat power was quite reasonable.

Although the highest was less than 100, their overall combat effectiveness could not be calculated that simply; their 19 super-human organs provided an all-around enhancement.

The Astartes had astonishing reflexes, with ordinary ones reaching the millisecond level, and some even reaching the nanosecond level. With two hearts, a second lung, and the Sus-an Membrane that allowed for feigned death, their survival capabilities far exceeded those of the same level.

Coupled with their heavy Power Armor and their Monofilament Daggers, Chainswords, Power Swords, Bolters, Melta Weapons, and Plasma Weapons, the overall combat power of these guys should be able to rival a combat power of around 200 in the Dragon Ball world—provided they didn't use ki, of course!

The combat power Axis was testing also attracted the attention of some Sixth Legion Space Marines. What was this beeping thing?

"How is it, my little Wolf Cub? How is the combat power of these children of mine?" Leman Russ asked with some curiosity.

"The combat power is between sixty and one hundred. This is purely physical data," Axis replied.
