Background

Zhou Cheng is the younger son of Zhou Wei, the Great General of the Great Feng Dynasty, and Luo Shui. At thirteen, he is considered an embarrassment within the capital's martial circles because of his slow progress; Zhou Wei threatens to break his legs if he cannot attain the fourth Body Refining level before age fourteen. 1

His circumstances change after his cultivation techniques begin cultivating automatically. The Black Tortoise Divine Technique and Indestructible Vajra Divine Technique free him to study the Martial Classics, while active training further accelerates his martial techniques. 2 6

As he rises through the Body Refining Realm, his breakthrough rewards provide powerful retainers, divine beasts, artifacts, and pills. This allows him to build an independent force rather than relying solely on the Zhou Family. 12 19 25 26

He is deeply protective of his family. He dispatches Qin Meng to watch over Zhou Wei at the border, searches for medicines to treat his father's injury, removes Zhou Jian's soul curse, and later uses his status to mobilize Great Feng's major factions in the search for Zhou Li. 10 73 85 186

Zhou Cheng can also be ruthless toward threats. He kills Gao Jun to prevent future trouble for the Grand General's Mansion, bloodbaths the Heavenly Dragon Sect, and cripples powerful opponents who pursue him or his allies. 17 152 170 255
