Vegeta's Final Flash

Vegeta's arrogant personality remained unchanged, even though he had already learned quite a bit from the combat footage.

Yet now, seeing Vegeta standing there without even intending to transform, it was truly looking down on others too much!

Especially since Vegeta had appeared and, regardless of anyone else, immediately challenged him, causing him to miss his lunch.

Gohan's face darkened, his expression icy.

"Uncle Vegeta, do you not intend to activate Super Saiyan 1 and plan to fight me in your base form?"

His body turned into a streak of light, slamming directly toward the Vegeta ahead, who watched it all unfold.

Vegeta sneered incessantly; in his eyes, Gohan's Super Saiyan 1 was full of flaws and not worth looking at!

Especially since he had charged in to engage in close-quarters combat immediately?

This brat hadn't made any progress at all; it was impossible to win against him with this kind of close-quarters fighting!

As Gohan closed in and threw a punch, Vegeta lifted one hand with ease and caught Gohan's fist.

Not far away, Piccolo also smiled.

Piccolo, watching from nearby, furrowed his brows; the thing he had anticipated had happened after all.

"Gohan can hold his own against Super Saiyan 1 Vegeta for now, it just depends on how long he can keep it up!"

Vegeta had no intention of holding back this time, as the previous melee had earned his recognition of Gohan's strength.

Gohan felt all of this, but instead of a shred of fear, he curled his lip and smiled.

He knew, of course, that Vegeta would pull out this transformation; he had anticipated it all along.

"Now this is interesting. Otherwise, if it were just like before, winning would be too easy!"

Gohan's words made Vegeta snort coldly. He realized this guy was just like Kakarot.

He was far too confident in himself!

His Super Vegeta transformation was a masterpiece born of extreme self-confidence, prepared specifically to deal with Kakarot.

Revealing it now was merely to use Gohan as a sparring partner. Seeing Gohan's relaxed expression, he assumed the boy simply didn't understand the true power of his Super Vegeta form.

"Gohan, I didn't expect you to be as arrogant as your father. However, I can tell you that this transformation was prepared specifically for your father, Kakarot."

"Even though I'm showing it to you now, I will take your father's place and teach you a lesson!"

The proud Vegeta, having brought out his strongest transformation, believed he was now invincible.

He sacrificed the speed of Super Saiyan 1 to focus entirely on raw power.

Vegeta didn't even take Super Saiyan 2 seriously: "Super Saiyan 2 has flaws, Gohan. Surely you know that?"

Gohan had transformed into Super Saiyan 2, increasing his power while lowering his speed, but he wasn't worried in the slightest. He said calmly, "I am well aware of that. However, my White God state can compensate for it. I can predict any close-quarters attack, even without speed."

"No one can get close to me and engage me in melee combat!"

"Vegeta, don't do anything reckless! If you fire a Final Flash like that now, Gohan won't be able to take it—he'll be vaporized instantly!"

Piccolo tried to dissuade him, but Vegeta was not one to listen to reason. He snorted coldly and glared at Piccolo.

He had no fondness for Piccolo at all: "Shut your mouth!"

"Gohan, if you can take this attack, I will acknowledge your strength. I recognize your close-quarters combat, but can you withstand my Super Vegeta Final Flash?!"

As the energy accumulated, Gohan understood that this Final Flash was Vegeta's signature killing move, and he knew Vegeta was playing for keeps.

He felt a wave of pressure, but this was the kind of pressure that allowed him to elevate his own combat level!
