Ultimate Perfect Kamehameha

With his Ultra Instinct breaking through the 1% mark, he had reached a new level. Over the past few days, he had constantly studied footage of Vegeta's battles.

He was already familiar with Vegeta's fighting style. In close combat, Vegeta was no match for Kakarot.

If they hit Earth head-on, they would shatter the entire planet!

No asteroid could withstand that attack of Vegeta's.

Yet Gohan remained completely calm. Facing Vegeta's Final Flash as it barreled straight toward him, he lowered his head and let out a low growl.

"Limit Breakthrough! Aaaah! Reverse Kamehameha!"

In that instant, Gohan unleashed Reverse Kamehameha, turning his whole body into a beam of light as he charged straight into Final Flash.

Vegeta's expression changed. He stared in disbelief, unable to believe his eyes. This kid was completely insane.

"What?! You—you're trying to get yourself killed?"

Whatever else, the boy was Kakarot's son. Vegeta hadn't actually planned on letting him die here.

But with Gohan charging straight in, he was bound to be seriously injured, if not killed.

Who could have known that Gohan would enter the energy spheres of Final Flash in his Super Saiyan 2 form? At that moment, his Ultra Instinct ran wild.

He continuously used his energy to fend off the spheres raging all around him.

At the same time, he absorbed every sphere he managed to repel. That was the 1% secret of Ultra Instinct: the ability to absorb energy!

He could feel that the tremendous energy stimulating him had pushed his Ultra Instinct smoothly past 1.5%!

It was heading toward 2%. He absorbed and used the countless energy spheres to withstand the terrifying energy wave.

It took some effort, but he still managed to absorb a good number of Vegeta's Final Flash spheres!

With countless spheres filling the space around him, he searched for a way through. A quick glance revealed a weak point in Final Flash.

He raised both hands and began gathering energy right there inside Final Flash.

"100%—Ultimate Perfect Kamehameha!"

Using the Final Flash energy he had absorbed, Gohan unleashed an incredibly powerful 100% Ultimate Perfect Kamehameha!

He raised both hands and fired it at the weak point in Final Flash!

Rumble!

The ground trembled. And to his surprise, even the system acknowledged his 100% Ultimate Perfect Kamehameha!

"Perfect Kamehameha reaches 100%. You have comprehended Ultimate Perfect Kamehameha and gained one draw!"

This was amazing. He had even earned a draw.

Final Flash exploded in an instant. Vegeta was stunned, and Piccolo, watching from a distance, was equally shocked.

He had no idea what had just happened.

Vegeta's expression changed. The next moment, he saw Gohan burst through his Final Flash and hurl an Ultimate Perfect Kamehameha at him.

The surging energy made Vegeta's face turn ashen. He was Prince Vegeta—he never dodged!

Kakarot's son thought he could surpass him? The kid had broken through his Final Flash.

And he had done it head-on, breaking through from inside Final Flash itself. Thinking back on what had just happened, Vegeta's pride flared.

He raised both hands. This time, he had no intention of dodging either.

"Aaaah! You damn brat! You managed to withstand my Final Flash, but you think I can't stop your Kamehameha? I'm the one who surpassed Kakarot!"

"I'm the strongest, most perfect Super Saiyan! Aaaah!"

With a furious roar, Vegeta raised both hands and tried to block Gohan's Ultimate Perfect Kamehameha.

Rumble!

He raised his hands, and the terrifying energy exploded between them. Vegeta gritted his teeth and fought to hold it back, refusing to move aside.

There was no denying it: Vegeta's pride was the true nature of the Saiyans.

He would never let anyone surpass him. He would never let anyone crush him!

Roaring, Vegeta actually managed to catch Gohan's Kamehameha with his bare hands, relying on the energy in his palms.

He was panting hard by the end, having spent a tremendous amount of energy.

Vegeta was clearly exhausted, but he had done it!

He compressed the enormous energy sphere completely, holding it back until, after ten seconds, it shrank into a pinpoint of starlight.

It vanished in his hands. Grinning, he lifted the corners of his mouth and burst into laughter once he had fully caught it.

"That was nothing! Hahaha! If Kakarot's son can catch it, so can I! I'm the strongest Super Saiyan!"

Watching Vegeta withstand the whole attack and burst into laughter, Gohan shook his head with a hint of admiration.

He looked at Vegeta calmly and said, "Uncle Vegeta, you've lost."

Vegeta looked up. At Gohan's words, his face darkened. He snorted, visibly displeased.

"You brat, quit talking nonsense! I blocked your Kamehameha. The fight's only just begun."

"The battle starts now!"

Even as he said that, he looked utterly exhausted. He could have dodged, but his pride had made him take the attack head-on.

He had lost a great deal of energy. With that much of his strength gone, he couldn't possibly win against Gohan!

Gohan pursed his lips and continued calmly, "Uncle Vegeta, if you'd dodged just now, I might not have beaten you. But your pride got the better of you."

"I knew you'd use your energy to stop my Kamehameha. That's why you lost!"

Vegeta still looked displeased. He gritted his teeth and snorted.

"You brat, what are you getting at? Even if I've used up a lot of energy, I still have 50% of my strength left. You've got barely any energy left yourself."

"What makes you think you can beat me?"

Gohan pursed his lips and said nonchalantly, "I haven't used up any of my energy, Uncle Vegeta. That Ultimate Kamehameha was your energy to begin with."

"And my energy is right here!"

As he spoke, he waved a hand. In that instant, his two clones appeared nearby.

They returned to Gohan. The next moment, Vegeta's eyes nearly popped out of his head.

Gohan had his two clones replenish his energy, returning the 100% he had originally given them.

The clones vanished, and Gohan was back to 100% energy. He hadn't wasted a single bit and showed no sign of exhaustion.

Instead, he was full of energy and in excellent condition!

Seeing this, Vegeta, with only 50% of his energy left, nearly spat blood.

This kid was so shameless, so despicable!

So that was why he had made two clones from the very start—to replenish his energy. What a damn dirty trick!

"You brat! You set me up!"

Vegeta's face twisted with anger. He clenched his fists and started to charge, but before he could get close, Gohan raised a hand.

The pose he struck, along with his words, made Vegeta's expression change. He immediately stopped where he was, not daring to take another step.

Seeing Vegeta hold still, Gohan smiled. He kept gathering energy in his hands and said calmly, "Uncle Vegeta, want to take another 100% Ultimate Kamehameha?"

Another one!

The kid had recovered all his energy. He really could unleash another 100% Ultimate Kamehameha.

If Gohan attacked at full strength, Vegeta, with only 50% of his power, couldn't dodge. If he tried to take the attack head-on, he would be blasted to smithereens.

Gritting his teeth, Vegeta didn't dare move.

Piccolo watched from the side, filled with emotion. He knew Gohan had indeed won. Two full-power 100% attacks put him well above Vegeta.

Vegeta's pride had played right into Gohan's hands from the start. The moment he took the first attack head-on, he had already fallen behind.

There was no way Vegeta would take Gohan's Ultimate Kamehameha this time!

"Ka-me..."

As Gohan gathered energy, the sphere in his hands grew larger and larger. Even Vegeta, standing in the distance, broke out in a cold sweat. He stood frozen, unsure what to do.

Vegeta stood motionless. Gohan smiled, but in the end, he didn't release the energy sphere.

He had only been bluffing!

Vegeta jerked in fright and immediately backed away, only to realize Gohan had just been posing and hadn't attacked at all.

Realizing he'd been tricked, Vegeta grew angry, while Gohan remained perfectly relaxed.

"All right, Uncle Vegeta. Let's call this a draw. I used a trick too, so there's no need for us to fight to the death."

"This 100% Ultimate Perfect Kamehameha takes too much energy. I don't want to end up exhausted later!"

After all, he could only fire it once more. Even then, defeating Vegeta would be difficult.

His chances were around 80%. But there was still a 20% chance Vegeta could dodge and survive, and then Gohan would be in trouble.

So he took the initiative and proposed a draw. Vegeta let out a breath of relief and gave Gohan a long look.

He snorted, apparently accepting the terms, but didn't say another word. He turned and walked away.

He didn't want to stay another moment!

Vegeta really was something. His strength was incredible. He seemed to have gained yet another training target.

Watching Vegeta walk away, Gohan thought the guy was such a show-off!

He came and went as he pleased. In retrospect, Gohan should have gambled on that 80% chance: either he'd blast Vegeta to smithereens, or, with the 20% chance, he'd run out of energy and get killed by Vegeta.

He pursed his lips and gathered all his energy back. This fierce battle had given him a much better understanding of his own strength.

With his current abilities, he could take on Vegeta at about 70% strength. But he still fell short of Vegeta at full power.

He could win by using tricks, but in the world of Dragon Ball, victory came from overwhelming strength. He was still short by about 30%!

Only when he made up that 30% gap could he surpass Vegeta and rise above him!

He had to keep working hard. Ideally, he'd push Ultra Instinct to 5%!

That would make him five times stronger in battle. Now that would be awesome!
