A Chance Encounter with Android 18

Gohan returned, and Videl, wearing a stunned expression, hurried forward the moment she saw him.

"Controlling such power must be incredibly taxing. Don't be so reckless next time; Vegeta's strength goes far beyond this!"

She had been considering whether to give him a chance, but to her dismay, she found Krillin entangled with an ex-girlfriend. This left 18 dissatisfied, and she had left without even saying a word.

The icy, cold-blooded 18 had no intention of competing with anyone.

She would wait until Krillin broke up with his ex-girlfriend, Marron, before considering anything else.

Little did she know, before she could leave, she noticed Gohan appearing. She was taken aback, especially by his energy signature.

It made her brow furrow; she felt that Gohan was different from before.

Just as she was about to pass him by, she paused.

She blocked Gohan's path. Her sudden intervention made Gohan stop in his tracks, looking puzzled.

"18, why are you here? Are you looking for Krillin?"

At the mention of Krillin, 18's beautiful face turned even more displeased. She gritted her teeth and said:

"Don't joke around. Why would I go see that shorty? He's chatting away happily with his ex-girlfriend; I have no interest in getting involved!"

Krillin was quite the philanderer, unable to let go of his ex-girlfriend—otherwise, he wouldn't have named his future daughter after her.

However, since he had angered 18, Gohan offered a silent prayer for Krillin. It seemed Krillin had missed his chance.
