The Wager! Universe 6 vs. Universe 7

"Luya? Who is Luya?" Champa asked, somewhat puzzled. Clearly, he hadn't expected a Saiyan from his own universe to have slipped into Universe 7.

"That's impossible! If this Luya you speak of is truly a Saiyan, then he has nothing to do with our Universe 6," Vados said with a faint smile.

"Why?" Goku asked, confused.

"Because whenever a living being breaches the cosmic barrier, the God of that universe will sense it immediately. Therefore, that Luya is not from Universe 6!" Beerus said indifferently.

"Not from Universe 6? Could he be from another universe?" Vegeta asked, his expression complex.

"I don't know, but it's unlikely. Since Universe 6 and Universe 7 are parallel universes, they share certain similarities. Aside from Universe 6 and Universe 7, there shouldn't be any Saiyans in the other universes!" Whis suddenly interjected.

"That Saiyan named Luya—even we gods cannot fathom his depths. Furthermore, we know nothing of his origins! Not even the other gods have any records of him!" Beerus said in a deep voice.

"Tch! Isn't he just a Saiyan? What's there to be so surprised about? Beerus, just tell me where you got this delicious food!" Champa tapped the table and said dismissively.

Beerus glanced at Champa and replied coolly, "These things come from a planet called Earth!"

"What?! Earth? Are you sure you're not joking? A tiny planet can produce such delicious food?" Champa was clearly incredulous.

Beerus said flatly, "That goes without saying!"

Champa stroked his chin, then looked at Vados and asked, "Hey Vados, doesn't our Universe 6 have an Earth too? Right?"

Vados nodded and said, "There is indeed an Earth, but it is a desolate planet with very few inhabitants. It seems something happened there in the past that led to the near-extinction of all life."

"Cough..." Champa gritted his teeth. Damn it, that meant he had no gourmet food!

He refused to accept this!

Champa had always compared himself to Beerus, and he had lost miserably almost every single time! This time, he was so thoroughly beaten that even he began to covet that so-called Earth.

"Hehe! Champa, you should admit defeat now, right?" Beerus looked at Champa triumphantly.

Champa said indifferently, "Hmph! What's the big deal? Beerus, the truth is, I came to see you because I have a wager to make!"

Beerus paused, then asked, "What do you want to bet?"

Champa said coolly, "I have already collected six Super Dragon Balls! You remember those, right? The Super Dragon Balls that can grant any wish!"

Beerus's pupils constricted: "How do you want to bet?"

Champa said calmly, "It's simple! We each choose five warriors from our respective universes! We hold a tournament between the two sides! If you win, I will present these six Dragon Balls to you! But if you lose, you must hand over your Earth to me!"

Upon hearing this, Beerus's expression darkened. Not only that, but Goku and Vegeta were also stunned, breaking into a cold sweat.

Goku smiled confidently: "Compete against them! We will definitely win!"

Goku looked at Champa and said, "I'm very interested in the experts of your Universe 6. If possible, please have them bring their strongest fighters to compete!"

"Hey! Do you know what you're saying? If we lose, Earth will be his! Can you even stand that?" Beerus looked at Goku and said indifferently.

Goku smiled confidently: "I won't lose! I will train hard from now on and then defeat them! Doesn't Lord Beerus want those Super Dragon Balls, too?"

"Hey, hey, hey! Don't go guessing a god's thoughts so casually!" Beerus said, speechless as he looked at Goku.

"Haha..." Goku scratched his head and laughed.

"Tch! What a simple-minded guy!" Vegeta said proudly.

"Hey Vegeta, don't you want to go and see the experts of Universe 6?" Goku suddenly looked at Vegeta with a smile.

Vegeta's expression stiffened, then he hesitated and said, "Hmph! That kind of trash doesn't interest me!"

"Alright then! Then don't participate. I'll just go with Gohan, Piccolo, and the others," Goku laughed.

"Hey! Kakarot! You're doing this on purpose, aren't you!" Vegeta's face turned livid! Damn it! Was this guy brainless? Didn't he know he was just being tsundere?

Beerus looked at the two of them and smiled. He turned to Champa: "Fine, I accept. I'll compete against you!"

Champa snapped his fingers: "Excellent! Beerus! You'll regret agreeing to this! Because the experts of my Universe 6 will easily defeat your disciples!"

Beerus sneered: "It's too early to say that. Just wait and see!"

Champa laughed as if victory were already in his grasp: "Very well! Then I shall decide the tournament venue! I will notify you once it's ready! Vados, let's go!"

"Yes, Lord Champa!" Vados bowed slightly and departed with Champa.

On the field, Beerus looked at Goku and the others: "Did you hear that? Universe 6 is going to compete against our Universe 7!"

Goku said confidently: "Don't worry, I won't lose to them! Besides, we have many powerful fighters too!"

"No, no, no. You're thinking of Universe 6 too simply. They have a very powerful individual over there!" Whis suddenly said with a smile.

"Really? Is he that strong?" Goku's eyes lit up, and he said excitedly.

Whis nodded: "Yes. And if you were to face him, you might not be his match. Only if the two of you joined forces would you be able to defeat them."

"What! He's that strong?" Vegeta was shocked, then he suddenly looked at Goku: "Kakarot, leave this guy to me!"

Goku immediately became unhappy: "Huh? That won't do! I want to spar with him first!"

The two of them immediately began to bicker.
