"Oh!!" The robot refused to back down. Two jets of steam burst from its back, and the magma in its mouth erupted toward Vegeta like a volcanic blast!
Strangely, the robot's magma could actually burn through Vegeta's ki!
Everyone noticed, and their expressions grew serious.
"That magma-spitting guy is strong!" Krillin and the others remarked.
"But Vegeta won't lose. He's Vegeta!" Goku smiled, unconcerned.
"Have you noticed? Vegeta's in a bit of trouble," Whis suddenly pointed out.
At that, everyone was startled and looked toward the arena.
Vegeta hadn't fallen behind, but his ki was becoming unsteady. He seemed to be having trouble breathing!
"What's going on?!" Goku's expression tightened.
"It's the oxygen! The flames have burned up the oxygen inside the barrier, so he's having trouble breathing. But that robot doesn't need to breathe," Luya explained calmly.
Everyone's expressions darkened.
"That brat Champa did this on purpose!" Beerus said angrily.
"Hey, Vegeta! Be careful!"
Vegeta's chest felt tight. The magma the robot had spewed had burned away all the air in the arena!
He couldn't let the robot get its way!
With a sudden shout, Vegeta unleashed a powerful burst of ki. In an instant, his blazing beam forced the robot's magma back!
"Oh!!!" The robot sensed that something was wrong. It planted its feet, driving them into the ground, then its eyes glowed red as it poured on even more power! A tremendous aura enveloped it, bolstering its attack!

Vegeta's attack was pushed back. The magma surged toward him with unstoppable force!
Vegeta gritted his teeth, then abruptly cut off the Galick Gun. In the next instant, he powered up and chopped down at the magma with his hand!

Vegeta ripped the magma apart with sheer force!
But in that brief opening, the robot had already reached him and slammed a punch into him!

The robot clearly had no intention of letting him go. It rushed after him, grabbed his leg, and slammed him down again!

Luya glanced calmly toward the arena, then shook his head. Things hadn't gone exactly as he'd expected, but they weren't far off!
The smoke gradually cleared, revealing Vegeta.
