"Is this... me?" Cabba stared at his reflection, stunned.
Vegeta said coolly, "The most basic requirement for transforming into a Super Saiyan is anger. Once your rage reaches its peak, it brings out your hidden potential. You met all the other requirements, so your anger was what allowed you to transform."
Cabba suddenly understood. "So the reason you treated me like that just now, Master, was to make me angry?"
Vegeta replied smugly, "What else?"
Cabba relaxed, then suddenly dropped out of his Super Saiyan form.
Cabba froze. He hadn't done it himself.
"Do it again, just like I told you," Vegeta said coolly.
Cabba nodded, then slowly closed his eyes. The next second, he suddenly opened them!
Boom!
A burst of energy erupted from him. In an instant, a terrifying aura surged out of Cabba, and he transformed into a Super Saiyan once more!
Golden light enveloped Cabba. He was so excited he could barely contain himself. "I did it!"
Vegeta smiled, looking pleased.
"Thank you for your guidance, Master!" Cabba hurriedly bowed to Vegeta.
Vegeta said coolly, "Becoming my student isn't that simple."
"I understand! I'll work hard! I'm sure I'll impress you someday!" Cabba said with a confident smile.
"That's for the future. Right now, it's time to finish this." Vegeta smiled faintly.
Cabba suddenly grinned. "Master, it might be a little hard for you to beat me!"
Vegeta crossed his arms and smiled mockingly. "You're underestimating me."
Cabba froze.
"Ha!!!" Vegeta clenched both fists and powered up. Pure blue light enveloped him, and his strength multiplied beyond measure!
"Huh?" Cabba's eyes widened in disbelief.
"What?!!" Everyone from Universe 6 was shaken.
"What is that form? Why does it have the aura of a god?" Champa said in surprise.
"Seventh Universe's Saiyans seem to be rather extraordinary. They appear to have mastered a power that ordinary Saiyans can't," Vados said, equally astonished.
"Tch! No need to say it! It must be that Beerus! He must have taught those Saiyans some special techniques!" Champa said, unwilling to admit it.
"Hehe, Lord Champa, you can't blame Lord Beerus. The main reason is that you rarely pay attention to what goes on in Universe 6. All you think about is food and competing with Lord Beerus. I'm the one who manages Universe 6, after all!" Vados said with a giggle.
Champa: "..."
Champa was a little embarrassed. Vados was right, after all.
He didn't concern himself much with Universe 6. If things got out of hand, he would simply step in and destroy whatever was causing trouble. Simple and direct!
"Just watch. Those Saiyans seem pretty impressive. Transforming into that blue form has increased their fighting power tremendously!" Vados said with a smile, watching the match like it was a good show.
"Tch!" Champa was a little annoyed, but he had nothing more to say.
Hit, who had remained silent all this time, was also stirred. He opened his eyes and glanced at Vegeta, a meaningful look in his eyes. Then he shifted his gaze to Sun Wukong in the audience.
Sun Wukong was looking at him, too. The two stared each other down from across the arena, tension crackling between them.
After glancing at Sun Wukong, Hit started to look away. But the next moment, he suddenly paused, his gaze settling on Luya.
Luya was looking back at Hit, his expression calm and unreadable.
Hit narrowed his eyes slightly. Luya didn't seem as strong as Sun Wukong, but there was something about him that gave Hit an unusual feeling.
Universe 7 was pretty interesting!
"Hey, Luya!" Sun Wukong suddenly called out, though his eyes remained fixed on Hit.
"Hm?" Luya looked at him.
Sun Wukong turned to him and smiled. "Can I go first?"
Luya was taken aback. Beerus and the others were surprised, too.
"Goku, what are you planning?" Krillin asked, puzzled.
Goku looked at Hit, then smiled. "I want to test myself against Hit!"
Everyone was stunned.
Never mind whether he would even get the chance—Vegeta was so strong that he ought to win the match outright!
That was what everyone thought.
Beerus and Whis exchanged meaningful smiles.
"Goku, are you saying Vegeta can't beat Hit?" Piccolo asked, watching Goku gravely.
Goku nodded. "That guy is extremely dangerous! So dangerous that even I'm trembling a little."
Everyone was shocked. Piccolo's face turned pale with fright!
Was that really something Goku would say?
His friends had always thought Goku was invincible. Aside from opponents on a God of Destruction's level, he had managed to beat nearly every enemy through one miracle after another. But they had never heard him say that someone's aura made him tremble! Even Cell, powerful as he had been, had never made Goku feel that way!
Luya wasn't surprised. He hesitated, then said, "You might not be able to beat him."
Goku was taken aback, then laughed. "I think so, too. But it'd be a shame not to test myself against someone this strong!"
Everyone knew Goku well enough to recognize that his love of fighting had gotten the better of him again.
After a pause, Goku leaned toward Luya and quietly asked, "If I use that move, would I have a chance?"
Luya nodded. "You would, but Hit would still have the advantage. You haven't fully mastered that power yet. If you can't hold out, the damage to your body could be severe!"
Goku nodded. "I understand! I'll take the next match!"
Luya: "..."
He said nothing more. He understood that he couldn't break through to Super Saiyan Blue yet, so he couldn't challenge Hit right away. Even if he knew Hit's tricks, he still lacked the strength to keep up!
Goku was different. He had Super Saiyan Blue, and his own strength was already formidable. If he added Kaioken on top of that, he might have a chance!
In the arena, Vegeta had successfully shown off his power and transformed into Super Saiyan Blue. He looked at Cabba and said, "This is the next level of Super Saiyan: Super Saiyan Blue!"
"S-so amazing!!" Cold sweat ran down Cabba's face as he stared in awe. He could feel the pressure Vegeta's power exerted on him. There was no doubt this was an incredibly terrifying form!
So they could already transform to this level!
