"Master Yamcha, are you alright?" Puar asked, rushing back to their hideout to check on Yamcha.
"I... I'm fine. Damn it! I never realized there was a woman with them!" Yamcha looked like a man who had just escaped death; clearly, Bulma posed a far greater threat to him than Goku.
"Master Yamcha, are you really that afraid of women?" Puar asked with concern, feeling distressed over Yamcha's debilitating phobia.
"I get so nervous the moment I see a woman. It's not that I dislike them, but I can't help but feel dizzy. No! I absolutely cannot let this continue!" The legendary, battle-hardened Yamcha lived up to his reputation; if his body was weak, he would train until it was strong. His fear of women was just another obstacle to be overcome!
"This time, I will definitely snatch their Hoi-Poi Capsules, even if they have a woman with them!"
"Master Yamcha, there's no need for that. Look, what I managed to get," Puar said, looking at Yamcha with pity. He handed over Yamcha's sword before pulling out a small box.
"Ah! How did this happen? Oh no! The box with the Hoi-Poi Capsules is gone?! It must have fallen somewhere. Hurry, help me look for it!" Once the infatuation faded, Bulma was shocked to discover the box was missing.
The group turned over nearly every piece of debris from the house, but found nothing. Their transportation and all their supplies were effectively gone.
Fortunately, fearing the bandits might return, Oolong offered up his own prized camper-style Hoi-Poi Capsule so they could leave the area as quickly as possible. Only then were they able to continue their journey.
By nightfall, they had finally cleared the desert. The camper was convenient, allowing them to stop and rest whenever they pleased.
Of course, before they could settle in, Wuchen frowned. "Stay inside and don't go out!" With that, Wuchen pushed the door open and stepped out. He retrieved a ticking object from beneath the vehicle and returned to the camper. "What is this thing? Do you recognize it?" Just moments ago, two signatures had skulked near the camper, and the ticking began immediately after they left.
"This is... a time bomb!" Bulma leaned in. She didn't seem overly terrified; she took it, examined it, and asked Oolong for a few small tools. After some tinkering, she dismantled the timer. "There, crisis averted. Where did you find something this dangerous?"
"Under the car. Two sneaky people planted it," Wuchen replied truthfully. "Is this thing dangerous?"
"Of course, it's a bomb! It explodes. Judging by the size, it's powerful enough to blow this whole camper to pieces!" Bulma shot Wuchen a glare, then belatedly realized the danger and looked terrified. "You mean someone secretly planted a bomb under our car? Could it be that someone is jealous of my beauty and wants to get rid of me?!"
Oolong was terrified as well. It was too dangerous—how could they be facing life-threatening situations everywhere they went with these people?
"..." Ignoring Bulma, Wuchen turned to Goku. "Goku, I'm going to hunt down the culprits. You stay here. The enemies this time aren't the two bandits from earlier. We can't be sure if that man and his cat will return, so you must stay to protect Bulma. Remember, no more carelessness!"
Without waiting for Goku to answer, Wuchen reached out and condensed two points of light. He sent one into Goku's body and the other into the desperately dodging Oolong. He then told Goku, "It will remain in your body for seven days. During that time, I can track your location. You don't need to look for me; just keep searching for the remaining Dragon Balls. I will see you within seven days." Wuchen cast a cold, warning glance at Oolong, making the pig shiver, before stepping back outside.
"Wait! Don't go over there yet! That kid is out again!" In the woods not far from the camper, a man and a dog-man crouched low.
"Mai, do you think he discovered the bomb?" the dog-man in ninja attire asked suspiciously.
"I don't know. Oh no! He's heading toward us! Could he have spotted us?" the tall woman named Mai asked, even more confused.
"No way... Run! He's really coming!" Seeing Wuchen pick up speed, the two turned and fled in a panic.
Indeed, these two were the loyal subordinates of Emperor Pilaf: Mai and Shu. They were also collecting Dragon Balls to fulfill Pilaf's dream of world domination. In terms of invention and technology, Pilaf's intellect was no match for Bulma, but he had also managed to create a Dragon Radar!
Wuchen's group, holding five Dragon Balls, had long been targeted by Pilaf's gang. They had even watched the battle between Yamcha and the others earlier through a bird-like bionic camera.
They had decided to use strategy, but they hadn't expected to be discovered.
Seeing the two fleeing in disarray, Wuchen followed at a leisurely pace. These two were clearly acting on a premeditated plan, and there was likely a mastermind behind them who needed to be rooted out.
Just as Wuchen was following the trail, other uninvited guests arrived near the camper: Yamcha and Puar.
"Master Yamcha, aren't you afraid of women? Since we already have so many capsules, why are we still looking for them?" Puar didn't understand the logic behind this mission.
"Fool, don't you see they still have a camper?" Yamcha explained, his expression somewhat unnatural.
"But if we hadn't come looking for them, how would we have known they had a camper?"
"..., I... well... who do you think I am? I'm a desert bandit! I knew they were hiding more good stuff. My nose for treasure is sharper than a wolf's!" Yamcha insisted, though he didn't really know what was wrong with himself. He was clearly terrified of girls, yet he couldn't help but want to get closer.
"I see, that's amazing, Master Yamcha!" Puar was impressed; as expected of Master Yamcha.
"Ha... haha, it's nothing, nothing at all." Yamcha's face grew even more strained. "Alright, let's sneak closer and scout the situation. When the time comes, use your transformation technique to lure that woman out. I'll go in, take care of the others, and steal their camper!"
And so, the man and the cat approached the camper, pressing against the side to eavesdrop.
"Goku, do you know who the enemy your brother mentioned is? Are they enemies you made a long time ago?" Both Bulma and Oolong were curious about Wuchen's sudden departure. It was worth noting that because of the bomb incident, Bulma had even given up on her plan to take a bath.
"I don't know, but Big Brother said there might be other enemies coming. The two people from earlier," Goku said truthfully, feeling a sense of anticipation. This made Bulma swoon again: "You mean that tall, handsome man from earlier? Is he really coming back?"
"Idiot!" Oolong scoffed. What a lustful woman! He then asked Goku the question that concerned him most: "Goku, are you and your brother really human? Why can your brother use sorcery?" He could still feel the strange sensation in his body, and the mysterious light orb implanted in his chest was glowing. It was impossible not to be terrified.
"Of course we're human. I don't know what sorcery you're talking about, but my brother and I just cultivate our power," Goku replied. Suddenly, his nose twitched, and he rushed toward Bulma. "I'm so hungry, I want to eat too." Bulma was currently picking out snacks from the refrigerator.
"No! Don't touch that juice!" Seeing Goku and Bulma's movements, Oolong's face turned pale. He had spiked the juice in the fridge with sleeping pills. His original plan was to drug everyone, satisfy his own ambitions with Bulma, and run away. But after Wuchen implanted that light orb and threatened to track him, he had lost his nerve.
However, his warning came too late; both of them had already taken a large gulp!
