For over a month, Goku and Wuchen stayed at Korin Tower.
Every morning, the two brothers would practice their staffs on the open-air "balcony." Korin watched with interest but was too lazy to join in.
After morning practice, the brothers would climb up and down Korin Tower.
Firstly, Wuchen found that this method greatly helped him train the qi within his body and increase its quantity.
Secondly, Korin fully agreed and even revealed the matter of the Ultra Divine Water, once the two brothers could easily snatch the kettle from him.
Actually, there was no Ultra Divine Water. Instead, there was something called Ultra Divine Water, but it wasn't something Korin possessed.
The legend that drinking the so-called Ultra Divine Water could multiply one's strength several times over owed a great deal to Master Roshi. One could say Master Roshi was the foremost spokesperson for Ultra Divine Water.
Three hundred years ago, Master Roshi spent a year and countless attempts to finally climb to the top of Korin Tower. The process of climbing the tower itself enhanced Master Roshi's strength.
Furthermore, Master Roshi received Korin's guidance for a full three years at the top of Korin Tower, and his understanding of qi far surpassed that of ordinary people. Thus, he gained the reputation of a martial arts grandmaster, and consequently, the Ultra Divine Water, which was a fabrication based on the Ultra Divine Water, became widely rumored.
Although it was gradually forgotten due to Master Roshi's retirement, it still circulated to some extent in the world.
Therefore, Wuchen had Goku climb the tower to train and temper the qi within their bodies. This also felt like a return to when Master Roshi trained them.
During breaks from climbing the tower, Wuchen and Goku would also take time to chat with Upa and Bora, occasionally imparting some methods of cultivation.
As for the time after lunch, it was spent practicing on the balcony at the top of Korin Tower.
Korin's progress was rapid; he should be able to condense his Origin Soul within the next few days, after which he could perform Spirit Attachment.
Goku, on the other hand, was slowly stabilizing his cultivation, with excellent balance between his four souls, laying a very solid foundation.
Wuchen's cultivation hadn't advanced much, but he had gained many insights into qi. He had also begun to understand the attributes of qi, which was a gratifying harvest.
As for Upa and his father, they were also slowly beginning to generate spiritual energy.
In his leisure time, Goku would also exchange insights on the path of cultivation with Korin. He even sought his guidance on planting Senzu Beans.
At the same time, he tried his best to extract all the information Korin knew about qi.
Korin was also generous, teaching Goku and Wuchen the essence of his centuries of cultivation insights.
After a month, Korin was somewhat afraid:
"I have nothing more to teach you. You have far surpassed me. You are young and should go out and gain more experience, meow~. I also welcome you to visit anytime."
"You are too modest, Immortal. Compared to you, my brother and I are far inferior. We merely possess brute strength," Wuchen said respectfully and humbly.
Regardless of strength or age, Korin had indeed taught him a great deal, and he had benefited immensely.
"By the way, Immortal, while cultivation requires quiet practice, it is also beneficial to relax in the mortal world during leisure time," Wuchen added after some thought, though he knew this might sound presumptuous coming from someone younger.
"I understand, meow~," Korin said, seriously noting Wuchen's words. He hadn't visited the human world in a very long time, perhaps several hundred years.
"Goodbye, Immortal." The two brothers bid farewell and each rode a Flying Nimbus, descending vertically. Indeed, Korin had also gifted Wuchen a Flying Nimbus.
Strictly speaking, the Flying Nimbus Master Roshi gave Goku was originally a gift from Korin to Master Roshi. Back then, Master Roshi could still manage to ride the Flying Nimbus.
Upon reaching the base of the tower, after bidding farewell to Upa and his father, the two brothers headed straight for Mount Paozu, arriving the next day.
They placed the Dragon Balls in the groove of the tombstone in front of Sun Wufan's grave, cleared away the weeds, recounted their recent experiences, and then cleaned the house and prepared a meal.
Over half a month, Wuchen collected spiritual materials and refined a considerable number of pills.
Afterward, he and Goku traveled to West City to return the Dragon Radar and thank Bulma.
As soon as they reached the sky above West City, Wuchen sensed something unusual.
Compared to last time, there was a trace of spirituality here, a faint spiritual energy. Bulma and the others must have been practicing diligently.
As they descended, the feeling became more pronounced the closer they got to Bulma's house.
They even occasionally heard passersby discussing it, with the citizens of West City having some awareness:
"The air seems to be getting fresher lately."
"Yeah, I feel healthier. And the closer we get to Capsule Corp, the better the air is."
"Right, exactly!"
Hearing these discussions, Wuchen pondered. The spread of cultivation methods was inevitable, and he was already working on it.
However, indiscriminate spreading was not acceptable, at least not yet.
There needed to be a group of pioneers who would go a certain distance first. This would help control the situation and also allow them to act as evangelists when the time came for widespread dissemination.
Although it was still early, he should start making plans and ideally draft an initial plan.
Soon, the two arrived at the entrance of Bulma's house. Wuchen pressed the intercom.
"Moshi moshi, who is this?" The voice from the intercom sounded somewhat familiar.
Simultaneously, a small screen displayed a pink mechanical face – it was Bulma's Nanny Robot.
"Beep, it's Mr. Wuchen and Goku. Please wait a moment." Before Wuchen could speak, another voice came from the intercom, and the gate opened.
The two brothers walked in, and the gate closed behind them.
Before they could take a few steps, the Nanny Robot approached them.
"Mr. Wuchen, Mr. Goku, please follow me," the Nanny Robot said, leading the way and explaining:
"Beep. The young lady gave instructions that if you two gentlemen arrived, I was to take you to her immediately."
Is she having trouble with her cultivation? Wuchen wondered. Given the situation, Bulma likely had some questions she needed to ask.
"Young lady, Mr. Wuchen and Mr. Goku have arrived. Beep-beep." Before long, the two brothers were led to the open-air training grounds.
Wuchen's eyes lit up—and indeed, the scene before him was quite bright.
The vast field was divided into several zones. At the center stood a few complex metal pillars where Bulma, Yamcha, Oolong, Puar, and even Mr. and Mrs. Brief were practicing.
Extending from the central area were plots of land filled with various plants, all radiating a distinct spiritual aura. There were even specialized robots tending to them, either irrigating or pruning.
It looked quite like a sect's disciples tending to a medicinal herb garden, though the ring of light-gathering devices set up around the perimeter looked rather out of place.
He could guess Bulma's original intent for installing those devices, but they were truly useless; they didn't increase cultivation speed by much. One could only say that different professions are like mountains apart.
"You're finally here? Were the Dragon Balls hard to find this time? I even went to look for you a few times, but no one was ever home."
Hearing the voice, Bulma immediately ended her training session and spotted Wuchen and Goku at once. The metal pillar she stood upon descended instantly.
