Li Shu told Son Gohan the incomplete Saiyan memories he had.

There was no need to hide anything, and it would also gain Son Gohan's trust.

"Saiyans? You and Goku are from a planet called Planet Vegeta? Goku's mission was to destroy everyone on this planet?"

After hearing Li Shu's account of the Saiyans, Son Gohan was stunned.

He suddenly remembered that when he first found Goku, he was indeed in a circular spacecraft, and Goku's personality was particularly unruly and violent. Later, due to an accident, his brain was hit, and he lost his memory, after which his personality became gentle.

This made him believe Li Shu.

"Cut off the tail," Li Shu said seriously. "Grandpa, you just saw it. Our Saiyan tails can grow back after being cut off. It doesn't harm us in any way."

Son Gohan still asked in confusion, "But you still retained your memory after transforming."

Li Shu smiled, "That's because Goku is still young and can't control that berserk power, so he lost his mind. It'll be fine after transforming a few more times. Normally, we can also train his willpower more. Or, we can use some sedatives and inject them into him after he transforms."

Hearing this, Son Gohan finally showed a relaxed smile.

Over the years, every full moon night, he had been on edge, fearing that something unexpected would happen.

"However, I can't always maintain my memory and sanity after transforming, so every full moon night, I would be on edge and lock myself in my room. This is also one of the reasons I want to stay."

"If something unexpected happens to me, I hope Grandpa can cut off my tail."

Son Gohan nodded solemnly and also agreed to Li Shu's request to stay.

The next day, during breakfast, Son Gohan told Goku about his past transformation into a Great Ape.

Upon learning that he had almost killed his grandfather, Son Goku was so scared that he burst into tears.

"Goku, from now on, our daily training will include an additional item: training your willpower. The next time you accidentally transform, you must learn to control that berserk power and maintain your sanity."

Son Goku nodded heavily, eating the dinosaur leg in his hand with teary eyes.

At Son Gohan's request, Li Shu reluctantly joined the daily training as well.

"Li Shu, I'm old. After I pass away, I hope you can take good care of Goku for me." This was the reason Son Gohan strongly requested Li Shu to train together.

Li Shu had no reason to refuse and readily agreed.

In the days that followed, Li Shu experienced both pain and joy.

The pain was that the training was truly arduous, while the joy was that he could clearly feel himself getting stronger.

On a full moon night, Goku woke up in the middle of the night to relieve himself and accidentally saw the moon, transforming into a Great Ape.

But all of this seemed futile. However, Son Gohan did not give up. Only when he could no longer hold on did he reluctantly cut off Goku's tail.

As the tail fell off, the Great Ape's body let out a roar, its body trembled violently, and then it began to shrink rapidly.

Looking at Goku, who had fallen unconscious on the ground, Son Gohan gave a wry smile and carried him back to his room.

The next day, as soon as Goku woke up, he found his grandfather Son Gohan and cried out, "Grandpa, Grandpa, did I transform last night? I think I almost killed you."

"You remember?" Son Gohan looked at Goku with surprise. This meant that Li Shu's method was effective.

With time, Goku would surely be able to completely control the power of the Great Ape and maintain his sanity after transforming.

"Grandpa, I didn't mean to. I couldn't control myself at the time," Goku said hurriedly.

Son Gohan smiled and asked, "Didn't you notice anything different about your body?"

"Huh? Is there?" Goku curiously looked himself over, and soon his eyes widened. "Ah? Where's my tail?"

"It's here," Son Gohan produced a severed tail from somewhere and continued, "Remember, cutting off your tail after transforming will restore you to normal. If your brother Li Shu also accidentally transforms in the future and can't maintain his sanity, you must do the same."

Son Goku nodded repeatedly. After a year of getting along, he had developed a deep affection for Li Shu.

Li Shu sat at the dining table gnawing on a dinosaur leg, watching the scene with a smile, when suddenly the system's voice rang out in his mind.

"Next check-in location: The scene of the Shenron summoning. Reward: One additional wish."

Li Shu's eyes lit up. Perfect! His first wish would be [No Pain], and his second would be [No Hunger]. Perfection!

Looking at the dinosaur leg in his hand, Li Shu suddenly felt that the [No Hunger] wish might be a bit unnecessary; his wilderness survival skills now surpassed ten Bear Grylls combined.

"According to the plot, all I have to do now is wait quietly for Bulma to show up. Next plan: Wait for the rabbit to hit the tree!"

Li Shu lay back down again. Isn't a life of eating dinosaur meat every day while waiting for the Dragon Balls to be delivered to his doorstep just wonderful?
