One Must Never Insult a Man's Family

Just thinking about earning more achievement points soon put Li Shu in a good mood.

He had 74 achievement points now and planned to save up to 100, then make a big push for the [Invisibility Epiphany Potion]. He was determined to master the technique in one go.

After that, he would upgrade the [Beginner Senzu Bean Can]. At the rate he was going through Senzu Beans, producing just one a day wasn't enough.

The "Punish the Evil and Promote the Good" mission had given Li Shu a sudden burst of inspiration. When he was punishing the evil and promoting the good, he could pose as a barefoot doctor: beat someone half to death first, then feed them a Senzu Bean. Maybe he could exploit a bug and trigger the "Save the Dying and Heal the Wounded" achievement.

"Dare to come in? I've got a Two-Star Ball in here, you know," General White taunted, full of confidence in Muscle Tower.

"Then I won't hold back." Li Shu chuckled. He and Wukong landed on the ground, pushed open the doors to Muscle Tower, and walked inside without the slightest hesitation.

[Battle Power: 5][Battle Power: 5][Battle Power: 5]...

As soon as they entered, Li Shu spotted a crowd of weaklings watching them with mocking expressions.

He found it rather amusing. He really couldn't understand where they got their confidence.

Then again, it made sense. These forces, which relied on powerful weapons to dominate their territory, didn't understand that overwhelming numbers meant nothing against a truly powerful fighter.

Take Colonel Silver, for example. He'd thought he was powerful just because he could take on ten men at once. He was nothing but a frog at the bottom of a well.

Li Shu was reminded of Satan, who had performed a live, worldwide demonstration of his ability to chop tiles with his bare hands in front of Cell, all to show off how strong he was.

Even now, more than twenty years later, the memory still made him want to laugh.

"Haha."

Unable to hold it in, Li Shu burst out laughing. He quickly added, "Sorry, sorry. I just thought of something funny."

The fighters on the first floor of Muscle Tower immediately darkened their expressions. They'd actually been laughed at by a mere kid.

They began twisting their bodies, cracking their knuckles or rolling their necks to force their bones to pop, putting on fierce expressions to try to look intimidating.

"Kid, you brought only a brat to storm Muscle Tower? You're not even enough to whet our appetites. Why don't you go home and get your mommy? Bring her along so we can have some fun."

A soldier with a thick beard and a blue baseball cap slowly walked toward them.

The smile vanished from Li Shu's face in an instant. His gaze turned ice-cold as he looked at the soldier indifferently.

Thud!

A muffled impact rang out. Li Shu appeared in front of the soldier in an instant and punched him in the crotch. The tremendous force bent him into a > shape, and the excruciating pain hit him a moment later.

The soldier's eyes bulged and his mouth fell open, but no sound came out. All he could manage were broken, breathy gasps before he clutched his bloodied crotch and fell to the ground, writhing wildly.

No one but Wukong had seen Li Shu move. His near-teleporting speed and ruthless methods filled the other soldiers with dread. Their expressions changed drastically, and cold sweat beaded on their foreheads.

Li Shu looked at the soldier indifferently, took out a Senzu Bean, and forced him to eat it.

"What's your mother's name? Where does she live? After I'm done with Muscle Tower, I'm thinking of going to find her and have some fun." Li Shu pressed a finger beneath the soldier's chin and lifted him off the ground into the air.

Such terrifying strength sent shock waves through the soldiers present and General White, who was watching through the surveillance cameras.

The soldier's face was full of terror. He felt as though Li Shu's finger was about to pierce his chin.

What frightened him most were Li Shu's words and his impassive expression.

Even among evil men, few could stay unmoved when someone threatened their mother.

"You'll tell me." Li Shu crushed his testicles again and pierced his chin through with his finger.

The unbearable pain made the soldier dangling from Li Shu's finger convulse wildly. Blood dripped onto the ground with a patter.

"Wukong, leave the others to you. I'm going to have some fun with him." Li Shu was clearly furious. He spoke without even turning around.

Wukong frowned slightly but said nothing. He charged at the other soldiers, and not one of them could withstand a single blow.

In just a few seconds, they were all sprawled on the ground, unable to fight. Terror filled their eyes, nearly spilling over.

But that overwhelming fear didn't come from Wukong. It came from the man who seemed like a demon.

Wukong didn't linger. He disappeared up the stairs leading to the second floor.

Li Shu wasn't at all worried about Wukong. Seeing that the soldier was about to die from the pain, he took out another Senzu Bean and forced it down his throat.

The soldier, gravely wounded and on the brink of death, was suddenly full of life again. But his eyes were filled with fear and despair.

"I won't let you die until you tell me your mother's name and where she lives," Li Shu said softly, like a demon whispering in his ear.

The soldiers sprawled on the ground watched what happened, their eyes filled not only with fear but also with a hint of relief.

Fortunately, they hadn't insulted this demon's mother. It seemed that even a demon couldn't stand to hear his mother insulted.

They secretly swore to themselves that no matter what, they would never insult the family of anyone they crossed again.

After being dragged back and forth between the brink of death and a new lease on life several times, the soldier finally broke.

Sobbing uncontrollably, he cried, "Kill me! Please, just kill me!"

"Name and address," Li Shu said again.

Unable to bear the torment any longer, the soldier finally told him. Then, sobbing, he begged, "Kill me! Hurry up and kill me! Please!!"

"Not yet. I still have to take you back to see your mother."

Li Shu spoke softly, but to the soldier, his words were like a nuclear explosion. The soldier instantly went deaf, and his mind began to grow hazy.

"Wake up." Seeing that the soldier's mental state was deteriorating, Li Shu hurriedly fed him another Senzu Bean.

The soldier was restored to full health once again, but his mind had completely collapsed. He looked more than a little crazy, shouting over and over, "Kill me! Hurry and kill me! Mom! Mom! I want to go home!"

"Looks like he's gone mad." Li Shu casually tossed him to the ground. He hadn't managed to trigger the "Save the Dying and Heal the Wounded" achievement bug, and a trace of disappointment crossed his face.

Then Li Shu looked at the other soldiers lying on the ground, their faces full of terror, and suddenly had a new idea.

He decided to try exploiting a bug in "Punish the Evil and Promote the Good."

Li Shu walked over to one of the soldiers. The man was so scared that he lost control of his bowels and bladder, his body trembling uncontrollably.
