Li Shu was in a terrible mood. After eating a Senzu Bean, his hunger vanished in an instant, and his stamina and strength returned to their peak. He glanced at the grill not far away and the seasonings on the ground, then turned a cool gaze on the tiger-headed monster.
It was obvious that the monster had planned to roast him and eat him.

Deeply dissatisfied, Li Shu easily broke free of the tiger-headed monster's grip and beat him up without a word, venting his anger and frustration.
The tiger-headed monster begged for mercy, but Li Shu paid him no heed and shouted, "Tell me, why didn't you prepare cumin for the barbecue?"
"I..."
Bam!
Li Shu punched him and snarled, "You're not talking, huh? Then I'll beat you to death!"
The tiger-headed monster burst into tears. "I..."
Bam!
"Still not talking? Looks like you don't want to keep your tiger's whip."
The tiger-headed monster was terrified and frantic. "I..."
Bam!
"Fine, fine. You've got a pretty stubborn mouth."
The tiger-headed monster was in tears. "I..."
Bam!
"Phew... That feels better." The punch put Li Shu in a much better mood. He stopped beating the monster and praised him. "Not bad. You're a tough one. A bone this hard would make a great soup. But never mind. I admire you, so I'll spare your life."
The tiger-headed monster looked at Li Shu in dismay, tears streaming uncontrollably down his face. I wanted to tell you! You never gave me a chance!
Overcome by an overwhelming sense of injustice and frustration, the tiger-headed monster could take it no longer. He sat on the ground and wailed.
Li Shu had been about to leave, but then he said, "You look kind of tasty when you cry."
"I'm not tasty! I'm not tasty at all!" The tiger-headed monster shook his head like a rattle drum. His tears stopped in an instant, and he fled in a panic.
That was terrifying! This human is terrifying! Mom! I want to go home to Mom!
"Hm?" Watching the tiger-headed monster flee, Li Shu narrowed his eyes and shouted, "Wait!"
Wait for you? Not a chance! The tiger-headed monster didn't look back. His huge body shuddered, and he ran even faster.
He'd thought he was in luck today. He'd gone out for a walk and stumbled across a human to improve his meals, but instead, he'd brought disaster upon himself.
A figure appeared in front of him. It was that terrifying human.
"I'll run you over!" The tiger-headed monster steeled himself and made no attempt to slow down.
"Heh. A battle power of eight is nothing." Li Shu simply held out one finger, stopping the tiger-headed monster's charge and pinning him in place.
Then, under the tiger-headed monster's terrified gaze, Li Shu reached out and began feeling all over him.
Before long, Li Shu found a stone ball on the tiger-headed monster. Three dim stars were etched into it.
It was the Three-Star Ball, currently in its cooldown period.
"So Shenron's already been summoned..." Seeing the petrified Three-Star Ball completely extinguished the last glimmer of hope Li Shu had held.
After glancing at the trembling tiger-headed monster, Li Shu let him go. He always felt a little uneasy about eating an animal that could talk.
Then Li Shu raised his eyes, hoping to see his own battle power, but soon gave up on the foolish idea.
No one could see the top of their own head.
Li Shu found a lakeside and used his reflection in the water to make out the battle power above his head.

"Only 53?" Li Shu stroked his chin and pondered. He couldn't remember what Wukong and the others' battle power had been at this point.
So he had no way to tell where his current strength stood.
"At this point in time, Wukong should be training with Krillin at Master Roshi's place, right?"
Li Shu decided to go and see. First, he wanted to find out the battle power of Wukong and the others. Second, he'd promised to split up and search, but then he'd unexpectedly been unconscious for over a month. Wukong must be worried about him, so he should go let him know he was safe.
Third, he really wanted to train with Master Roshi for a while.
If he remembered correctly, the World Martial Arts Tournament was only a few months away. Judging by the system's patterns so far, it might trigger a quest.
"How much was the prize money for winning the tournament again? Maybe a hundred million?" It had been so long that Li Shu couldn't remember.

The Tyrannosaurus stared blankly at the human before it, let out a roar, clutched its crotch, and limped away.
In the city, Nobi Bear was putting the finishing touches on the cleanup at his grilled chicken shop. A figure appeared in the corner of his eye at the entrance.
"Sorry, sir, we're closed," Nobi Bear said without looking up, continuing to clean.
"It's me, Uncle." Li Shu grinned and set the enormous dinosaur leg down on the table Nobi Bear was cleaning.
Nobi Bear looked up in surprise. When he saw who it was, a hint of surprise crossed his face.
"Sorry about this, Uncle. I got held up by a few things, so I'm a few days late. Here's the dinosaur leg I promised you."
"I thought you weren't coming. Have you eaten? I'll make you something. It's the perfect chance to try this dinosaur leg, and you're my very first customer, so don't say no." Nobi Bear looked excitedly at the leg.
"Sure, Uncle. Sorry for the trouble." Li Shu had no reason to turn down good food.
"Just a moment." Nobi Bear hurriedly called over a few helpers to prepare the dinosaur leg.
