When had Thor ever suffered such humiliation? Back when Odin had exiled him to Earth, he had merely become an ordinary man.

But now, not only had he lost his hammer, he had become someone else's slave.

The Grandmaster told him that there was only one way to leave Sakaar: defeat his champion and become the new champion. Then he would win his freedom and be able to leave.

Thor looked utterly confident. Wasn't it just becoming champion? Thor feared no one. Odinson had never shied away from any challenge, no matter who his opponent was.

In the arena prison, Thor met a rock man. More precisely, he was a Kronan warrior. Thor had fought warriors like him before, and they had been no match for him.

However, this Kronan named Korg was quite the chatterbox, endlessly babbling in front of Thor. Because of that, Thor learned that Korg was the leader among these slaves. They were all the Grandmaster's gladiators, imprisoned here.

Korg had originally wanted to launch an uprising, but because there had not been enough flyers printed, he was captured. As punishment, he was sent to Sakaar and sold to the Grandmaster.

Thor, however, had no interest in any uprising. He only wanted to defeat that champion and leave this damn place.

"You're not really thinking of fighting that monster, are you?" Korg said. "Everyone who has ever fought the champion ended up dead."

Hearing Korg's words, Thor clenched his fists. Having his hammer destroyed had already put him in a foul mood. He was going to teach that so-called champion a proper lesson!

Thor went to prepare his weapons. Looking over the dazzling array of weapons, he couldn't find anything that felt right in his hand, and he couldn't help missing his beloved hammer.
