"Hela!"

Valkyrie had not expected the Goddess of Death to be here. Though Hela was dressed in Junkers clothing, one look into her eyes told Valkyrie exactly who she was.

She had dreamed of killing this woman and avenging her fellow Valkyries.

"I'm going to kill you!"

Valkyrie drew a dagger and charged at Hela. Hela looked surprised, then gathered her power into a dagger of her own. Dagger struck dagger, sending sparks flying!

If this had been Asgard, there would have been no suspense in this battle. After all, Reaper Hela drew her power from the realm of the gods. Back then, even the entire Valkyrie corps had been no match for her.

But on Sakaar, Hela's power had been greatly weakened. It was still unclear who would win this fight. As a Valkyrie, Valkyrie possessed extraordinary strength and vast combat experience. Her attacks were fierce and lethal, each thrust aimed at Hela's eyes, throat, or heart!

Hela reacted swiftly as well, using her dagger to parry the attacks. Amid the fierce clash, she inadvertently noticed the tattoo on Valkyrie's arm.

"So you're a Valkyrie... I thought you had all died." Hela sneered.

Hearing that, Valkyrie's face twisted with rage. She remembered that battle—the Valkyries falling from the sky as Hela slaughtered them with her blades. If her comrade had not saved her, she too would have died beneath Hela's sword. To a warrior, that was both a humiliation and an unerasable wound.

To forget the past, Valkyrie had come to Sakaar, drinking herself senseless and drifting through each day. But Hela's arrival had snapped her fully awake.
