"Don't worry about it. I'll help you," William said kindly when he saw Eve looking upset.

William swept up all the broken plates, then put a bandage on Eve's cut finger.

He couldn't help thinking he'd hired the wrong person today. It seemed clumsy girls like her couldn't work as waitresses.

Who could have guessed that Eve would look up and give him a sweet smile? It nearly made William lose his mind. His heart raced, and it felt as if a little deer were leaping around in his chest.

"Waiter, I'm ready to order!" Just then, an unwelcome voice rang out.

William and Eve hurriedly looked over. A man in a black suit was calling them over. William looked surprised, because the man was none other than Coulson.

The last time he'd seen Coulson had been at a coffee shop. He'd asked Coulson to help him borrow a taxi, and after returning home this time, he'd discovered Coulson had moved out long ago. It had left him curious.

"Hello, sir. What would you like?" Eve asked with a smile as she brought over the menu.

"My beautiful lady," Coulson replied with a polite smile. "A latte to drink here, and a fruit pizza to go."
