Hearing the voice, William immediately turned around.
A cool, expressionless woman came into view. She had long reddish-brown hair, fair skin, and stunning features. Her black, form-fitting combat suit accentuated her gorgeous curves to perfection.
The zipper on the woman's neckline was pulled down low, making William swallow. Every step she took radiated allure, like a deadly poisonous spider.
"You're finally here." Nick Fury smiled faintly. "William, let me introduce you. This is one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s finest agents, Natasha Romanoff!"
No wonder the woman seemed so familiar to William. She was the irresistible Black Widow from the Marvel Universe.
Natasha Romanoff was a Level Eight S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and one of the agency's most capable operatives.
She had extensive experience as a spy and excelled at hand-to-hand combat and assassination. She was fluent in languages from all over the world—even Latin. Though she had no superpowers, she could use all kinds of firearms and drive cars, fighter jets, and more.
Of course, when talking about Black Widow, you couldn't forget her seductive charm.
Her cool, alluring air, angelic face, and voluptuous figure made Natasha a sex symbol in the Marvel Universe.
In all the time William had spent in the Marvel Universe, he'd met very few beauties: Tony's secretary, Pepper Potts; General Ross's daughter, Betty; the waitress, Eve; and Black Widow, Natasha.
During the Hulk mission, he'd been forced to watch Bruce and Betty shower each other with affection. It had really bothered William. Single people were people too! What happened to treating animals with kindness?
Then he'd met the sweet and bashful Eve, and thought his luck in love had finally changed. He hadn't expected to run into Black Widow so soon afterward.
But Black Widow was someone William could admire from afar, not someone he dared to pursue.
