After the Planetary Defense Council was established, it caused quite a stir across the world.

After all, the United Nations had existed for sixty or seventy years. It had been established to maintain world peace and foster relations between nations.

Now, however, it was being replaced by the Planetary Defense Council. This organization was not dedicated to international cooperation or development, because humanity had to unite against their common enemy.

More and more people learned about aliens, and the Planetary Defense Council released information about the Battle of New York. To the public, the existence of aliens was no longer a secret.

Because of this, two voices gradually emerged on Earth. One believed in alien civilizations and hoped humanity could become friends with them, developing and progressing together. The other feared alien civilizations, believing they would destroy Earth and wipe out all humankind.

These two voices gradually became two factions. For a time, people across the entire planet were gripped by panic. Regardless of which faction they belonged to, both reflected humanity's suspicion and concern toward unknown civilizations.

So, in order to calm humanity's fears and divert people's attention, William began the next step of his Wallfacer Project.

It had to be said that William had once been nothing more than a pizza deliveryman. Later, he bought the place where he worked and built an international food-service conglomerate—Jonathan International.

He first established chain restaurants throughout New York, then continued expanding from across the United States to the entire world. Thanks to the Avengers' promotion, Jonathan Fast Food Restaurant became enormously popular. Customers came for the Avengers gimmick, and the food was especially delicious, earning rave reviews.

There were now more than three thousand Jonathan Fast Food Restaurant branches worldwide, and William had become a man worth tens of billions.
