Thanos Descends

After the battle in Wakanda began, Thor was nowhere to be seen. With their Hammer Bro around, he could have wiped out swathes of enemies with one ultimate move, yet he had not joined the fight.

Who would have thought that Thor had been here all along, waiting for the enemy to come to him?

This was actually William's plan. After all, the Wakandan battlefield existed to protect the Mind Stone. The enemy knew that, and of course William knew it too. So from the very beginning, he had Thor stand guard here. With the God of Thunder present, even if Thanos came himself, he likely would not be able to take the Mind Stone anytime soon, let alone the Black Order.

When Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight saw Thor, they froze. A faint smile appeared on Thor's face, as if he were saying, "Heh heh, didn't expect that, did you?"
