Ronan's Escape

Iron Man suddenly fired a Unibeam. The dazzling blue beam shot straight into the sky, streaking toward the missiles that filled the air.

"For Midgard!"

Thor roared as well. Though he had put on quite a bit of weight, the God of Thunder's majesty remained. Stormbreaker unleashed its power, and a bolt of lightning transformed into a massive thunder dragon that came roaring forth.

In an instant, a massive explosion erupted above Earth. It was the detonation of all the StarCraft missiles after they had been destroyed. Fire and thick smoke blanketed the sky, creating a spectacular sight.

"This is impossible..." On the bridge of the Kree flagship, Ronan looked stunned. "C-53 shouldn't possess defensive technology capable of destroying our missiles."

Just then, two figures flew out from the fire and smoke. They were Iron Man and Thor.

Iron Man and Thor arrived beside William and the others. Iron Man curiously looked at Captain Marvel. Compared to the world they came from, Carol at this point in the timeline was much younger.

William looked at Thor and said, "Bro Thor, sobered up yet?"

"Once we beat them, we'll go back and drink a victory toast!" Thor said with a smile.
