An Outrider roared as it charged at Hawkeye. Clint clutched the Infinity Gauntlet and fired an arrow at the monster before him. The Outrider opened its massive jaws, and the arrow flew straight into its mouth, piercing through its body.
Black Widow fired an electric current from Widow's Sting, but even the high-voltage electricity did nothing to these monsters.
Hulk punched an Outrider away, but even more Outriders rushed toward them. He was about to be overwhelmed. Bruce shouted, "Take the Infinity Gauntlet and go! I'll hold them off!"
Hawkeye knew the Outriders had come for the Infinity Gauntlet. William had also said that Thanos and his subordinates could not be allowed to obtain it. This was the mission William had entrusted to them, and they could not let him down.
