Gods of Destruction serve as the destructive counterpart to Supreme Kais: they remove planets harmful to the universe while Supreme Kais create and guide worlds. Their lives are linked, reflecting their corresponding roles in maintaining cosmic balance. 88

Beerus has lived for hundreds of millions of years, but his long life has fostered extreme laziness. He spends much of his time sleeping and has historically destroyed planets according to his whims rather than fulfilling his duties consistently.
