After dinner, the five of them left the cafeteria and headed toward the commercial district of Shrek Inner City.

As mentioned before, ten thousand years ago, during the era of Huo Yuhao, the Spirit Ice Douluo commemorated in Spirit Ice Plaza, Shrek Academy had been Shrek City itself.

The present-day Shrek City had been expanded once more upon its original foundations. In other words, there were also places near Spirit Ice Plaza where students could shop and have fun.

The five of them left the bounds of Spirit Ice Plaza and entered a lively, brightly lit street. The buildings on either side were not tall, only two or three stories, but every one of them had its own distinctive style.

Some had red-brick outer walls, some gray-brick walls, and some wooden plank walls. The shop signs were a riot of colors; some glowed with neon lights, some hung lanterns, and some used projection lamps to cast patterns onto the walls.

The street was packed with people, most of them young. Some wore Shrek Academy uniforms, while others wore casual clothes. There were people chatting and laughing, groups of two or three, and couples walking together.

They had not gone far when they spotted an especially bustling storefront ahead. It was not large, but its display window was huge, filled with models of all kinds of beverages: juice, milk tea, coffee, and ice cream. A line had formed outside, and many people held number tickets as they waited for seats.

"What is that place?" Xu Xiaoyan asked curiously.

Xie Xie looked at the sign above the storefront, thought for a moment, then spoke.

"It seems like a place for drinks, a beverage bar. Shrek City has beverage bars too? Let's go get something to drink, maybe some juice."
