As classes began, Cai Yue'er targeted Zhong Shenxiu, his relationships with his friends grew strained, and he crushed Yue Zhengyu in a confrontation near the dormitory.

• Zhuo Shi welcomed the five students as Work-Study Students, and Shen Yi explained that they had to earn credits through academy assignments despite Zhong Shenxiu offering to pay their tuition.
• Teacher Shi refused to exempt the group from assignments and ordered them to clean Spirit Ice Plaza, while Zhong Shenxiu sensed darkness rising within him and saw Teacher Shi collapse in terror.
• After the group found their dormitory bare and Tang Wulin and Xie Xie clashed, Zhong Shenxiu concluded that a Black Hand was manipulating Tang Wulin and Shrek Academy members to isolate him.

Zhong Shenxiu defeated Shrek Academy’s selection candidates, crippled Cai Yue'er, and led the Star Dragons in a battle that left the academy in ruins. Back at his company, he reunited with Leng Yulai and learned that the Douluo Plane might devour the Dragon Fighting Plane.

• Tang Wulin accepted the blacksmithing representative position as Zhong Shenxiu pursued class monitor, then Class One entered the Illusion Realm for its selection contest.
• Zhong Shenxiu, Gu Yue, and Xu Xiaoyan swept through the Illusion Realm, defeated Luo Guixing’s team, and Zhong Shenxiu eliminated Wu Siduo before destroying Cai Yue'er's control console.
• Zhong Shenxiu used Death God Rocket and the Star Dragons’ powers to clear the remaining students, then the Star Dragons intervened when Cai Yue'er attacked him in the hall.

Zhong Shenxiu contracted the Douluo Plane and set the Dragon Fighting Plane’s revival in motion as Shrek lost the Golden Ancient Tree and Doulong Technology rose in power. Gu Yue pledged the Soul Beast Clan’s future to Zhong Shenxiu, learned the truth about the Dragon God, and renewed her resolve, while Di Tian and the fierce beasts arrived at Doulong Technology to meet the Plane Master.

• The Douluo Plane Master appeared before Zhong Shenxiu and the Star Dragons, warned that the planes’ interaction could lead to war, and agreed to become a subordinate plane rather than be devoured.
• Zhong Shenxiu and the Douluo Plane Master completed their Master-Servant Contract, triggering the Golden Ancient Tree’s violent escape from Shrek Academy and leaving the academy without its protection.
• Zhong Shenxiu named the Plane Master Zhong Lingyue, who later worked with the Star Dragons on a plan to capture Douluo Plane powerhouses and use their life origins to accelerate the Dragon Fighting Plane’s revival.
• Gu Yue revealed that she was the Silver Dragon King and pledged the Soul Beast Clan to Zhong Shenxiu, who promised to protect the Soul Beasts and pursue the Fighting Dragon Clan’s revival without destroying humanity.
• Doulong Technology publicly accused Shrek of abusing its authority, gained support from major factions, and became a powerful force in East Sea under Zhong Shenxiu’s leadership.
• Zhong Lingyue told Gu Yue that the Dragon God had restricted humans and Soul Beasts from attaining godhood and helped destroy the Dragon Clan, and Gu Yue resolved to build a new future for her people.
• Gu Yue renewed her determination to revive the dragon race and kissed Zhong Shenxiu, while Di Tian, Xiong Jun, and the other fierce beasts traveled to Doulong Technology to meet the Plane Master.

Zhong Shenxiu used the Soul Beast Clan’s submission and Shrek Academy’s weakened position to prepare a confrontation with Shrek, while the Black Hand Clan set a trap for its students. In Eastsea City, Leng Yaozhu reunited with Leng Yulai and became entangled with Zhong Shenxiu, but her attempt to reconcile with her sister ended in rejection.

• Zhong Shenxiu secured the Soul Beast Clan’s submission to the Dragon Fighting Plane, and after Xiong Jun refused, the Taurus Star Dragon defeated him and returned him for treatment.
• As Shrek Academy struggled after losing the Golden Ancient Tree, Zhong Shenxiu ordered rewards for anyone who defeated its students during their Final Exam expedition.
• Qiangu Dongfeng proposed an alliance against Shrek, but Zhong Shenxiu demanded Spirit Pagoda spatial technology in return, and Qiangu Dongfeng chose to let Shrek and Doulong Technology weaken each other.
• Thunderclap Black Hand deployed the Black Hand Clan across the East Sea region to let Shrek’s students enter before sealing the region and attacking them.
• Leng Yaozhu spotted a figure she believed was Leng Yulai and followed her, recalling how their rivalry over Yun Ming had driven Leng Yulai to join the Holy Spirit Cult.
• Leng Yaozhu discovered that Leng Yulai was Zhong Shenxiu’s devoted follower and fainted outside his room after overhearing them, then woke with no clear memory of what had happened.
