• Ye Xinglan declared that she would compete because Gu Yue might enter, while Xu Lizhi urged her to join their teammates and she promised Zhong Shenxiu they would talk after the exhibition match.
• Shrek Academy’s team overwhelmed Skysea Academy in the exhibition match, and Zhong Shenxiu encouraged Tang Wulin to believe in his own strength.
• Gu Yue, Xu Xiaoyan, Xie Xie, and Tang Wulin followed Zhong Shenxiu to meet Ye Xinglan, but Xie Xie interrupted them with a false message from Teacher Wu.
• Zhong Shenxiu easily defeated his individual-match opponent, then went shopping and ate ice cream with Gu Yue before Ye Xinglan told him she would work harder to catch up to him.

Zhong Shenxiu defeated Leng Yulai, forced her to help charge his Energy Storage Crystal, and uncovered the revived Holy Spirit Cult’s fragmented structure. After Illusion returned and slaughtered Heaven Dou City’s Evil Soul Masters, Zhong Shenxiu set out to target more strongholds while powerful factions claimed credit for the operation.

• Zhong Shenxiu defeated Leng Yulai, marked her to force out the Plane Locator’s location, and took the device before resisting the violent urges awakened by his trials.
• Di Tian brought the exhausted Zhong Shenxiu to Skysea City, where Gu Yue and Xu Xiaoyan welcomed him, and he received a confession letter from Ye Xinglan before leaving for Heaven Dou City.
• Zhong Shenxiu forced Leng Yulai to recharge his Energy Storage Crystal, and its third charging stage awakened the Black Death Dragon’s power and restored Illusion.
• Zhong Shenxiu subdued Illusion, then stopped draining Leng Yulai before her cultivation suffered lasting damage and questioned her about the Holy Spirit Cult and the Demon Empress.

After helping awaken the Dragon Fighting Plane, Zhong Shenxiu returned to Eastsea City and trained with Zero Class as the students prepared to enter Shrek Academy. The group reached Shrek City, where Zhong Shenxiu's relationships with Xu Xiaoyan and Gu Yue grew closer while Tang Wulin pursued a way to awaken his bloodline.

• Zhong Shenxiu returned to Eastsea City after the Holy Spirit Cult campaign, and the completed charge awakened Aquarius Star Dragon as his new ally.
• Zhong Shenxiu reunited with Gu Yue and the other Zero Class students, then fought Aquarius Star Dragon in training as the group tested their abilities.

Zhong Shenxiu led Zero Class through Shrek Academy’s entrance trials, earning top marks and clashing with Cai Yue'er when her hostility flared. The arc ended with Zero Class arriving at Sea God Island and finding Wu Zhangkong kneeling before Zhuo Shi.

• Gu Yue and Zhong Shenxiu shopped for clothes, where Wu Siduo gave up a cardigan she had reserved and introduced herself as a fellow Shrek Academy applicant.
• As Tang Wulin remained unconscious before the entrance exam, Zhong Shenxiu insisted Zero Class would not take it without him, and Shen Yi secured a postponement.
• Tang Wulin awakened in time to join the group as Shen Yi drove Zero Class into Shrek Academy and showed them its historic grounds.
