Beerus Awakens~

At this moment, Whis was leisurely stretching under a tree; in truth, he had sensed it the very instant Beerus awakened. Whis stood up gracefully and asked with a smile, "Lord Beerus, where is it that you wish to go?"

Beerus wore a grave expression tinged with pride as he commanded loudly, "Whis, find me the location of that Super Saiyan God, immediately! At once!" His unquestionable tone echoed across the silent planet.

Whis bowed slightly and replied respectfully, "As you wish, Lord Beerus." With that, he tapped his staff, causing a soft light to bloom from it. Instantly, a massive energy screen resembling a crystal ball formed before him, flickering with light as it searched for traces of the Super Saiyan God.

Whis's fingers glided across the energy screen, sending runes and light flashing past. His gaze was focused and calm, as if the information of the entire universe were within his grasp. A moment later, the light on the screen converged, revealing a blurry image of the battlefield where Son Goku and Goku Black were locked in a fierce struggle.

"Lord Beerus, I have found them." Whis's voice remained calm as he turned slightly to give Beerus a clearer view of the screen.

Beerus stared at the screen, arms crossed, a hint of curiosity and amusement in his eyes. "Hmph, this battle looks quite intense. That Saiyan seems to have some skill."

With that, Beerus flashed forward, transforming into a streak of purple light as he shot into the sky. Whis followed at a leisurely pace, waving his staff to form a protective barrier around them, ensuring they remained undisturbed by interstellar matter while traversing space.

Back on the battlefield, the fight between Son Goku and Goku Black had reached a fever pitch. After a violent exchange of blows, Son Goku backflipped to gain distance. His chest heaved violently and his clothes were soaked with sweat, yet his gaze grew only more resolute as he locked eyes on the black blade radiating an evil aura in Goku Black's hand.

Goku Black let out a wild laugh. Though he had sustained many wounds and his dark aura was somewhat chaotic, this only seemed to fuel his madness. "Son Goku, you are destined to die here today!"

Just as Goku Black prepared to launch another attack, a purple light flashed across the sky, and Beerus and Whis appeared above the two combatants.

Beerus looked down at them, his eyes filled with lofty majesty. "Hmph, two reckless fools, making such a racket right under this God's nose."

Son Goku and Goku Black looked up simultaneously, their faces reflecting different emotions upon seeing Beerus and Whis. A glimmer of hope flashed in Son Goku's eyes, as if he saw a turning point in the battle; meanwhile, Goku Black furrowed his brows, eyeing these uninvited guests with vigilance as he tightened his grip on his black blade.

As Beerus descended upon Earth, his majestic gaze swept across the devastated land. The debris and ruins scattered everywhere seemed commonplace to him, failing to stir even a ripple of emotion. His gaze quickly locked onto Son Goku, a hint of contemplation in his eyes.

Seeing the God of Destruction Beerus appear, Goku Black felt a sense of dread, knowing the situation had become thorny. Whis observed from the side, his gaze shifting between Son Goku and Goku Black as his staff trembled slightly, beginning to channel its mysterious power.

Beerus addressed Son Goku, "Kid, you look quite like the one I saw in my dream. Come, let us have a battle." His voice was low and filled with pressure, sounding like an unquestionable divine decree.

Seeing this, Goku Black tried to seize the chance to escape, but as he flashed away, he was frozen by Beerus's intimidating voice: "Move one more step, and you die!" These brief words left Goku Black rooted to the spot, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. He knew full well that the power of a God of Destruction was not something he could easily contend with.

Whis stood to the side, his staff glowing as the images shifted. Under the magic of his staff, time seemed to flow backward, and the events of the past flickered by like a revolving lantern. Before long, Whis understood the full sequence of events through the playback.

Whis grasped the entire history of the situation; the reason for the Earth being riddled with holes due to the fierce battle between Son Goku and Goku Black was now clear. However, the origin of Goku Black remained a fog, leaving him deeply puzzled.

Upon hearing Whis's report, Beerus frowned, a flicker of displeasure in his eyes. "Hmph, even you cannot find out?" His voice carried a hint of reproach, but it was mostly directed at the wariness of the unknown.

Whis bowed slightly and replied respectfully, "Lord Beerus, the existence of this Goku Black is quite peculiar. His aura is mixed with a strange, evil power that does not seem to belong to any timeline we are familiar with. I have done my best to trace the path of time, but the clues regarding his origin suddenly cut off at a certain node, as if they were deliberately hidden by a more powerful force."

Son Goku listened to their conversation from the side, his heart filled with confusion. He looked at Goku Black and shouted, "Who exactly are you? Why are you here? Why are you destroying the Earth?"

Goku Black sneered, a hideous grin appearing on his face. "Son Goku, you don't need to know so much. You only need to know that today is the day you die!" Despite his tough tone, a hint of panic flickered in his eyes; he clearly did not want others to know his true identity.

Beerus impatiently interrupted their conversation. "Enough! No matter where you come from, you shall not escape easily in front of this God." With that, his aura surged once more, the immense pressure making it difficult for both Son Goku and Goku Black to breathe.

Seeing this, Whis quickly cautioned, "Lord Beerus, please do not be impulsive. Although this Goku Black's power is inferior to yours, there may be a greater conspiracy hidden behind him. We must act with caution to avoid falling into the enemy's trap."

Beerus nodded slightly at Whis's words, though the murderous intent in his eyes did not wane. He stared coldly at Goku Black and said, "Hmph, no matter what the conspiracy is, this God will not let anyone who dares to challenge my authority go unpunished."

At this moment, Goku Black was secretly calculating how to escape his current predicament. He knew that against the God of Destruction Beerus, he had almost no chance of winning. Yet, a trace of determination remained in his eyes.
