More than two thousand years before the current story, the Body Sect slaughtered seven hundred-thousand-year soul beasts in the Star Dou Great Forest, provoking Di Tian and the core-circle fierce beasts into launching the largest beast tide in recorded history. Shrek Academy and the Body Sect jointly repelled the tide and subsequently rebuilt some of the destroyed cities near the forest, including areas such as Hill City. Shrek later retained actual control over Hill City despite its nominal status as Heaven Dou Empire territory. 15
