Wang Yan used Shrek's public funds to purchase a set of soul tool shells for 655,000 Gold Soul Coins. He noted that he personally could not have afforded the purchase. 113

When Qing Ya relayed Star Luo Emperor Xu Jiawei's offer allowing Lin Yan to buy the Sun God Stone on interest-free credit, Wang Yan recognized it as an effort to recruit Lin Yan.
