For seven days, Yu Yunyi and Lu Ruoxi checked their supplies, making sure nothing had been left behind.

By the time the four set out, they had erased every trace of the Divine Firmament Dao Sect.

Li Yunjing, Lu Ruoxi, Yu Yunyi, and Fu Chao were all dressed in the green robes of Ten Thousand Poison Sect disciples. They even had Identity Tokens identifying them as disciples of the Ten Thousand Poison Sect!

The four had received help from their fellow sect members at Divine Firmament Pass. Taking advantage of a small skirmish, they left the city and entered the territory of the Ghost Moon Kingdom.

The region they had entered was neither the Divine Firmament Dao Sect's territory nor the Nether Ghost Sect's. It was a region where the two powers' territories overlapped, and they fought one another constantly.

In recent years, thanks to the Divine Firmament Dao Sect's strict defenses, the Nether Ghost Sect had found it difficult to counterattack as far as Divine Firmament Pass and lay siege to the city.

Most of the fighting still took place in the two great provinces bordering Divine Firmament Pass...

This was the true battlefield.

The forces in these two provinces were a tangled mess. Besides the warring Divine Firmament Dao Sect and Nether Ghost Sect, their affiliated forces—and even the other behemoths of the Southern Heaven Continent—had all infiltrated the region.

It was safe to say the situation had spiraled out of control.

Neither the Divine Firmament Dao Sect nor the Nether Ghost Sect could rein it in. Both sects had tacitly allowed these forces to enter the war zone.

Following the agreed route, the four entered Rock Flame Province.

It had once been one of the Nether Ghost Sect's nine provinces.

Now, it had long since been ravaged,
