Li Yunjing spent his early years as a wandering martial artist in Yunzhou. Before entering the cultivation world, he was proficient with unarmed combat and weapons including blades, spears, swords, and halberds; his exceptional comprehension let him learn techniques almost immediately. While seeking the Divine Firmament Dao Sect, he was struck by the Creation Divine Thunder and nearly died. Yu Yunyi saved him, while Steward Li brought him into the Yu Family caravan.
