Lu Chenfeng roamed the martial world for two centuries as the Crimson Blood Demon Venerable. After falling out with the imperial court, he fled to the Hundred Yue Nations, where he mastered the Blood Sea Great Law and cultivated the Blood Sea Demonic Aspect. At his height, the Myriad Tribulation Demonic Blade vanquished all opponents in its path, and he stood only half a step from Martial Sainthood. 279

His attempt to break through to Martial Saint failed, severely damaging his cultivation. While recovering in the Hundred Yue Nations, he was ambushed by the Dragon-Subduing Arhat, lost the Crimson Blood Demon Blade, and escaped back to the Crimson Blood Secret Realm with only his remaining body. Unable to recover fully, he arranged a false inheritance and waited a century for a talented vessel to possess. 279

Before his downfall, Lu Chenfeng encountered Qing Feng, then a Witch God Hall Divine Maiden. He concealed his identity, used her aid against his pursuers, and developed a relationship with her. After learning her identity, he persuaded her to steal a Witch God Hall treasure, then abandoned her without explanation; Qing Feng was cast out after betraying the hall for him. 301 302 303
