Qi Ningbing is the younger daughter of Qi Zheng Nan, Patriarch of the Northern Mausoleum Qi Clan, and the younger sister of Qi Wanjun. Though the sisters banter freely, Ningbing was deeply concerned that Qi Wanjun's arranged marriage would not bind her to the wrong man. She compiled what she knew of Jiang Che for her sister, describing his ruthless handling of enemies, willingness to repay kindness, and extraordinary potential. 191
