Logically, if someone this powerful had truly appeared in the Marvel World, there was no way she would have absolutely no impression of him. Yet the truth was that she could not find any information at all.

If it were the Book of Cagliostro, she at least had some recollection of it.

Although that book also recorded many secrets of dark magic and the mysteries of time, it was clearly not the same thing as the Darkhold.

Going by the description, the Darkhold might even have been the origin of the Book of Cagliostro.

Otherwise, a mere imitation could not possibly have been worth sixty million Points.

But if it was a spellbook, it should have had some connection with Kamar-Taj, shouldn't it?

Had Loki made some sort of deal with Ancient One?

Surely he had not simply stolen it by force?

Unless the battle had taken place in Asgard, but that was clearly not possible.
