Overview

Soul Rings form from the remains of slain soul beasts and are absorbed by Soul Masters through their Martial Souls. A ring’s age and attributes affect its power, while absorption can be dangerous because of a powerful soul beast’s death-resistance or spiritual shock. 5 21 34

A soul beast may also voluntarily sacrifice itself, offering its life and Soul Power to a Soul Master without the usual absorption restrictions. Such sacrifices can create exceptionally high-level rings and avoid the normal danger of soul shock. 13 21 294

Yang Jian’s Three-Pointed Double-Edged Spear is exceptionally selective: it shattered or rejected numerous unsuitable rings before accepting compatible ones. 5 6 His Heavenly Eye Martial Soul has separately received the sacrificed million-year Soul Ring of the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm. 294 305
