Wu Ling won the tournament under Bibi Dong’s restrictions, became Spirit Hall’s Holy Son, and negotiated with the Star Luo and Zhu Families. He left for the Heaven Dou Empire with Zhu Zhuqing and began a swordsmanship match with Chen Xin at the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect.

• Wu Ling absorbed the Titan Giant Ape’s Spirit Ring, summoned Heracles, and raised his Soul Power to Level fifty-four before Bibi Dong ordered him to compete in the tournament.
• Wu Ling defeated Yan, Hu Liena, and Xie Yue without using Soul Skills, then assigned his clones to train them and met Spirit Hall’s tournament team.
• Wu Ling fought alone against the tournament’s opponents, defeated the Thunder Academy team, and outlasted the Star Luo team’s Hell White Tiger to win the championship.

Wu Ling gained Angra Mainyu as his sixth Heroic Spirit, helped Bibi Dong fuse her Martial Souls, and traveled to the Dragon Domain. There he confronted Noxie and forged the Blade of Noxie, which awakened and acknowledged him as its master.

• Wu Ling defeated Chen Xin in a sword contest, struck a deal with Ning Fengzhi, and demonstrated a Soul Transformation Device that let Zhu Zhuqing use two Martial Souls.
• Wu Ling secured the Elephant Armor Sect’s loyalty and met with the heads of the Five Elements Academies before returning to Spirit City and reuniting with Qian Renxue.
• Wu Ling tracked down and killed the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger, raised its Spirit Ring to one hundred thousand years, and gained Angra Mainyu as his sixth Heroic Spirit.
• Angra Mainyu empowered Wu Ling with the Domain of Evil, and the resulting aura alarmed powerful beings across Douluo Planet and the God Realm.
• Wu Ling accepted Qian Daoliu’s challenge, then helped Bibi Dong fuse her two spider Martial Souls and their Spirit Rings into the god-grade Zerg Empress.

Wu Ling crossed into a parallel future, took Huo Yu'er as his disciple, and trained her at the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineer Academy before returning to his own world. After absorbing a three-hundred-thousand-year Spirit Ring and awakening the Throne of Heroes, he challenged Spirit Hall's ties to Shrek and confronted Tang Hao.

• Wu Ling completed the Withered Wood Dragon Chant as a Transcendent Divine Artifact, then searched the Extreme North Wasteland and gained the loyalty of two Golden Armored Forbidden Insects.
• Wu Ling traveled to Skywater City, but a passage through the Spacetime Distortion Zone brought him to a parallel world ten thousand years in the future, where he met Huo Yu'er and made her his disciple.
• Wu Ling killed the Blazing Sun Unicorn, then brought Huo Yu'er to the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineer Academy and arranged for her to study Soul Tools.
• During five months at the academy, Wu Ling exchanged techniques and forging knowledge with Jing Hongchen, while Huo Yu'er gained the Ice Jade Empress Scorpion as her second Martial Soul.
• Wu Ling warned Huo Yu'er about the student exchange and the pendant before returning to his own world, where he absorbed a three-hundred-thousand-year Spirit Ring and awakened the Throne of Heroes.
• Wu Ling summoned Karna and met with Bibi Dong and his companions, then absorbed a Soul Bone from Angra Mainyu and confronted Spirit Hall officials in Suotuo City over sending graduates to Shrek Academy.
• Wu Ling watched Tang San and Tang Hao at Shrek Academy, then waited in Tang Hao's path and faced him as Tang Hao summoned the Clear Sky Hammer and revealed his nine Spirit Rings.

Wu Ling crippled Tang Hao and Tang San, then brought the four Clear Sky-affiliated clans and three academies under Spirit Hall’s control. The arc ended as he confronted Qin Ming in Heaven Dou City and extracted Qin Ming’s Martial Soul.

• Wu Ling overpowered Tang Hao, pursued him to his recovery cave, and forced him to flee after a clash that left him badly crippled.
• Wu Ling found Tang San and Dai Mubai at Shrek Academy, crippled them, and warned Flender that Spirit Hall would monitor Tang San and stop recommending graduates to Shrek.
• Wu Ling allied with Qian Renxue to accelerate the plan against Xue Ye and began targeting the clans affiliated with the Clear Sky Sect.
