"What about those Dragon Balls?" Sun Wukong asked hurriedly.
"Those Dragon Balls? Which ones are you talking about?" The Guardian looked a bit bewildered, yet he explained truthfully, "Haven't the Dragon Balls already granted the wish to bring you back to life? The current Dragon Balls have already turned into stone!"
"No, that's not it... I'm talking about the Dragon Balls created before you became the Guardian, back before you separated from Piccolo," Sun Wukong replied.
The Guardian was visibly stunned, unable to process the question for a moment.
"Where are those Dragon Balls kept now? Are they still at the Lookout?" Sun Wukong inquired.
"What are you talking about, Wukong?" The Guardian was genuinely confused and asked strangely, "Those Dragon Balls are the very ones that brought you back to life!"
"Eh? No way? You mean... these two types of Dragon Balls are the same?" Sun Wukong scratched his head, looking puzzled.
"There aren't two types of Dragon Balls, there is only one!" the Guardian replied. "I have only ever created this one type of Dragon Ball. Whether it was before I separated from Piccolo or after, the only Dragon Balls that exist are these!"
"Only one type?" Sun Wukong couldn't wrap his head around it and asked again, "Could there not be a set of Dragon Balls with black stars inside them?"
"No..." The Guardian looked even more perplexed. "What's wrong with you, Wukong? Why would you ask that?"
"This..." Sun Wukong scratched his head and ears, feeling a sense of utter bewilderment.
Could it be that my rebirth caused this timeline to change?
Future Trunks once said that there were timelines where I died of a heart virus, and timelines where I survived.
Perhaps it really is because I was reborn in this timeline that the world has undergone some changes.
But that doesn't add up either!
If I had been reborn before the Guardian and Piccolo separated, it would be very likely for the Dragon Balls to have changed.
The problem is... I was reborn at this point in time, so the black-star Dragon Balls should still exist.
"Mr. Popo, do you have any impression of Dragon Balls with black stars?" Sun Wukong looked at Mr. Popo standing behind the Guardian, his eyes lighting up as he asked quickly.
"No... Lord Guardian has only ever created that one type of Dragon Ball. There has never been any such thing as the black-star Dragon Balls you speak of," Mr. Popo shook his head, looking completely blank.
"Alright... I understand. I'll be going now!" Sun Wukong took a deep breath, pressed his index and middle fingers to his forehead.
I'll go see the Supreme Kai first.
Perhaps the Old Supreme Kai can answer the doubts in my heart.
"Shing!"
Sun Wukong immediately used Instant Transmission and vanished from the spot in the blink of an eye.
Sacred World of the Kai.
The Supreme Kai and Kibito were observing the movements on Earth from the surface of the Sacred World of the Kai.
"Lord Supreme Kai, it is fortunate that the battle between the Saiyan named Vegeta and Sun Wukong took place far away from Majin Buu's seal, so it won't cause any impact at all." Kibito breathed a slight sigh of relief.
"Indeed, that puts my mind at ease." The Supreme Kai nodded.
"That Saiyan prince, Vegeta, has actually been defeated by that Saiyan named Sun Wukong." Kibito marveled, "I must say, Lord Supreme Kai... this Saiyan named Sun Wukong looks quite powerful! Especially that transformation where his whole body glows with golden light!"
"That's right!" The Supreme Kai smiled slightly, then shook his head and said, "But unfortunately, he is still far from being a match for Majin Buu."
"Never mind Majin Buu, he wouldn't be a match for us either," Kibito said with a confident smile.
"After all, he is only a human; it is difficult to surpass a true god." A smile appeared on the Supreme Kai's face, but after saying this, he sighed with a dejected look, "The pity is that Majin Buu's strength exceeds our own!"
"Lord Supreme Kai, should we move Majin Buu to another location?" Kibito suggested. "When Majin Buu was on Earth before, humanity had only just been born! But now, Earth's technology is very advanced, and there are Saiyans on this planet... I worry that if his seal were to be struck violently, he might just break out from within!"
"I would like to move him elsewhere, but doing so might cause him to be greatly affected during the transfer and emerge from the seal prematurely," the Supreme Kai shook his head and said in a deep voice. "All we can do now is keep a constant watch on his seal... Fortunately, there is no one around his location! There shouldn't be any major problems in the short term!"
"What?" Kibito's pupils suddenly constricted, his face changed color, and he stared blankly at Sun Wukong, who had appeared behind the Supreme Kai.
"Kibito, what I mean is that it is best not to move Majin Buu for now; it is more appropriate to leave him where he is." The Supreme Kai, thinking Kibito hadn't understood, repeated what he had just said.
"This, this, this... how is this possible? This is the true Sacred World of the Kai!" Kibito was truly stunned, his jaw nearly hitting the ground, his face filled with shock.
The Supreme Kai finally came to his senses and hurriedly turned to look behind him.
When he saw Sun Wukong standing there, the Supreme Kai also widened his eyes, his face full of disbelief.
"Ah... hello, Lord Supreme Kai, Kibito." Sun Wukong waved his hand with a smile to greet them, then scratched his head and laughed, "Hahaha, I'm not quite used to seeing you two separated!"
Supreme Kai: "????"
Kibito: "????"
Both of them were completely bewildered.
What are you talking about?
And how did you get to the Sacred World of the Kai?
Only the Supreme Kai can enter this place.
You are just a human!
"Sun Wukong!" The Supreme Kai stared blankly at Sun Wukong, unable to help but speak his name.
"Eh? Does Lord Supreme Kai already know me at this point in time?" Sun Wukong paused slightly and rubbed his head.
"How did you get here?" Kibito asked, frowning.
"Well... I remember it being in that direction... I'll go take a look!" Sun Wukong pointed toward a towering cliff in the distance and immediately flew off toward it.
Kibito: "..."
"I'm talking to you, are you even listening?" Kibito's face darkened.
Immediately after, Supreme Kai and Kibito exchanged a glance, suddenly realizing that Sun Wukong was flying directly toward the Z Sword.
"What is he trying to do? Don't tell me he wants to pull out the Z Sword?" Kibito snapped back to his senses.
"Let's go see for ourselves," Supreme Kai mused, then muttered with a hint of confusion, "How did he even know about the Z Sword?"
Kibito was equally bewildered.
The two of them immediately gave chase.
Sun Wukong landed on the cliff where the Z Sword was embedded, spotting the hilt of the blade buried deep into the rock face at a single glance.
"So this is the Z Sword!" Sun Wukong took a deep breath.
"Although I'm not sure how you found out about the Z Sword... it looks like you intend to pull it out, don't you?" Kibito chuckled softly. "I'm afraid you're being a bit delusional. Don't think that just because you defeated Vegeta, you can pull out the Z Sword! As for this blade, let alone me, even Lord Supreme Kai can barely budge it in the slightest!"
