|---|---|---|
| Blood-and-qi martial artist | 631 | Had trained for eight years, but his talent and meridians were only barely adequate; he could not initially form blood-qi wolf smoke. |
| Main God Apostle / Mimicry Ability | 633 | Imprinted a basic imitation ability from an S-rank powerhouse and registered with the Federation as a superpowered individual. Initially, he could capture one target within ten meters for roughly half an hour to one hour; copied abilities operated at about half the target’s strength. |
| Soul-Scorching Flame / Burning Eyes | 636 639 | After observing Negary’s Star during a blood-and-qi breakthrough, his Soul-Scorching Flame grew into a “bonfire” and transformed his pupils into Burning Eyes. |
| Vitality Universe | 641 | Developed a personal application of blood-and-qi martial arts: his blood and qi imitate stellar motion, with the Soul-Scorching Flame acting as the force driving this internal “universe.” |
| Dream-space conversion technique | 659 | Created a technique for entering and converting dream-space, aided by strengthened Soul-Scorching Flame, exceptional inspiration, and an innate affinity for dreams. |
| Reincarnation of Ou Cheng / panel bearer | 662 664 | Resisted Ou Cheng’s attempt to overwrite his identity. Afterward, he returned to Main God Space in Yu Queyue’s body and gained access to a progression panel resembling Probability Certainty. |
| Enhanced Mimicry Ability | 667 | Used Main God mission rewards to improve Mimicry’s range, target limit, and similarity. The panel records that abilities above D-rank begin at 80% similarity and diminish with complexity. |
| Daoist cultivation arts | 668 672 | Acquired Azure Jade Purple Origin Art, then received the One God Heart-Guiding Sword and Roaming Dragon Technique upon joining the Three Mountains Sect. |
| Consciousness-reading Revolving Heavenly Void Divine Art | 680 | The art evolved enough for him to invade a prisoner’s consciousness, read memories, and assume the prisoner’s appearance. |
| Mahā Crystal Sutra | 685 | The Federation brought this Buddhist martial art to completion, granting a Crystal Body associated with resilience, resistance to ailments, and awakened wisdom. |
| Three Bodies of Illusory Dream | 694 | Self-created cultivation art formed by integrating multiple martial arts and dream authority; remade him and freed him from Main God control. |
| God of Illusory Dreams | 695 | His Three Bodies—self-body, other-self body, and divine body—became one dream-based divine existence. His reorganized dream realm initially covered Dream Valley. |
Background / History
Zhu Ping was an eighteen-year-old second-class commoner in the Starsea era. His father died when he was six, and he did not know even his mother’s name. With mediocre academic performance, weak spiritual perception, unsuitable meridians, and limited blood-and-qi talent, he expected to remain an ordinary commoner for life 631 632.
An old neural terminal left among his father’s belongings drew him into the ruined Main God Space. During his first mission, he killed a bandit leader and protected a village; the villagers’ reverence awakened confidence he had never possessed in ordinary life 632. After a second mission, Yu Queyue guided him to imprint Mimicry Ability, allowing him to become a registered superpowered individual and cross the social boundary from commoner to citizen 633.
His search for strength brought him into conflict with Dream Hounds, the New Trinity Organization, and forces seeking Negary’s Star. Exposure to Negary’s Star strengthened his Soul-Scorching Flame and gave him Burning Eyes, while his subsequent training produced the Vitality Universe 636 639 641. He later helped Wang Yuan escape New Trinity pursuit despite knowing that doing so endangered himself 647 648.
After Ou Cheng’s consciousness attempted to seize his body, Zhu Ping asserted his identity and survived the collapse of the dream. The Main God then placed him in Yu Queyue’s body and dispatched him to the Seventeenth Colony Star, where he adopted the identity of the deceased Daoist You Zhen 662 664 666.
As Huan Youzhen, he entered the Three Mountains Sect, studied mythic martial arts, and secretly cultivated while posing as a useless disciple obsessed with scriptures. He killed Poison Gentleman and Prince Mu’s retainers, then fought in the conflict between the Federation and the Three Teachings 671 673 675 677. Later, he returned to the Heavenly Source Secret Realm as the monk Kong Huan and spent three years regarded as a madman after passing through the Realm Gate 686 688.
Near death after his battle with Three Arts Scholar, Zhu Ping fused the principles he had learned into the Three Bodies of Illusory Dream. This transformation made him Negary’s divine son and the God of Illusory Dreams, tied to a reorganized dream realm 692 694 695.
Appearance
Zhu Ping’s appearance changes repeatedly through bodily replacement, disguises, and cultivation.
- His original pupils were dark brown before becoming Burning Eyes resembling the burning planet of Negary’s Star 639.
- While inhabiting Yu Queyue’s body, he had pale, slender hands and Yu Queyue’s face 664.
- As Monk Kong Huan, he was bald and wore a monk’s robe 685 686.
- After three years in the Heavenly Source Secret Realm, he had shoulder-length white hair and was known as a mad monk 688.
- He can imitate appearances and later alter his body using absorbed blood mist and consciousness-derived disguises 667 680 681.
Personality
Zhu Ping began resigned to mediocrity, having accepted that his lack of talent would confine him to ordinary life. His early experiences in Main God Space gave him ambition and confidence, though he remained conscious of his own limits 631 632.
He is calculating, cautious, and strongly independent. He conceals his abilities, maintains false identities, and refuses to place full trust in the Main God, Yu Queyue, or the hidden panel. Even when the panel could help him create a cultivation art, he chose to build his own path through study and understanding 670 679 693.
Despite describing himself as selfish, Zhu Ping retains a conscience. He fed the poor Daoist when it did not cost him much, felt guilty for placing Wang Yuan in danger, and chose to help Wang Yuan escape rather than abandon him to New Trinity 647 648 668. His ultimate goal is not merely survival or rank within another power structure, but to become a player rather than a piece in the struggle surrounding Negary and the Gods and Devils 692.
Abilities & Skills
Mimicry Ability
Zhu Ping can copy supernatural abilities and cultivation methods used by others.
- Initially captures one target within ten meters for approximately thirty minutes to an hour 633.
- Copied abilities initially function at roughly half the target’s strength; higher-ranked or more complex powers lose more effectiveness 633.
- Can imitate blood-and-qi martial arts, internal arts, poison arts, and physical appearances 633 637 670.
- Improved through the Main God’s panel, increasing its range, target limit, and similarity 667.
- His imitation of Azure Jade Purple Origin Art could become an innate ability after sufficient circulation, freeing an imitation slot 668.
Soul-Scorching Flame
A flame within Zhu Ping’s soul connected to Negary’s Star.
- Strengthens his aptitude, memory, comprehension, inspiration, and dream affinity 639 645 659.
- Drives the Vitality Universe and enables explosive physical output 641.
- Produces Burning Eyes and a triangular flame-like symbol in his pupils 639 667.
- Makes him a target for Dream Hounds and organizations investigating Negary’s Star 636 645.
Vitality Universe
Zhu Ping’s blood-and-qi combat method, created from his insight into stellar motion.
- Treats the human body as a small universe, with blood and qi as a sea of stars and acupoints as celestial bodies 641.
- Uses Soul-Scorching Flame as the force accelerating the circulation of blood and qi 641.
- Allows high-speed movement, powerful close-range strikes, and blood-based attacks such as Comet Halberd 641.
- Blood and qi repel or assimilate foreign supernatural energy, making it useful against Dream Hounds and similar entities 646.
Dream Authority
Zhu Ping possesses an innate affinity with dreams that grows into divine authority.
- Learned to enter the offset dream layer and explore deeper dream realms 642 645.
- Created a dream-space conversion technique that served as leverage in negotiations with Heartfire Organization 659.
- Sensed the dreamscape’s distress and recognized its potential to nurture a new demon god 667.
- Reorganized the dream realm after his transformation; it initially spread across Dream Valley 695.
- Can create other selves from the influences and consciousnesses within individuals, granting them dream-realm immortal bodies 695.
Three Bodies of Illusory Dream
Zhu Ping’s self-created mythic cultivation art.
- Self-body — his reconstructed human body, returned to Zhu Ping’s former appearance 694.
- Other-self body — contains what was constructed by Yu Queyue and the Main God, separated from Zhu Ping’s core self 694 695.
- Divine body — the reorganized dream realm and Zhu Ping’s god-and-devil body 694 695.
- Separates “self” from “other self” while retaining control over the latter through principles of the Infinite Still Light Solemnity Sutra 695.
- Freed him from the Main God’s methods of control 694.
Martial Understanding
Zhu Ping’s greatest strength is his ability to analyze, comprehend, and apply power beyond his physical foundation.
- Secretly studied Daoist classics and cultivation methods for a year while others mistook him for a fool 673.
- Used One God Heart-Guiding Sword to kill Poison Gentleman with a spirit-piercing sword finger 675.
- Entered the structure of Flower Tears and Blue Robe’s paired cultivation art, evolved its yin-yang structure into the Three Talents, and killed both opponents 675.
- Countered Three Arts Scholar’s false reality by seeing through phenomena using the Bell and Cauldron Studies Scripture 692.
- Studied mythic martial arts without relying on the Main God’s deduction function, ultimately creating the Three Bodies of Illusory Dream 693 694.
Identities
