Original life and transmigration

Before transmigrating, Wang Yuan was an ordinary young factory worker who regretted not studying harder and imagined that a “golden finger” could change his life. He accepted the Heavens System without recognizing its manipulation. 1 127

The System sent him to an alien world where Fate Suppression prevented both Fate and a Protagonist Halo from functioning. Unable to adapt to the environment, Wang Yuan became ill and died. 1

Remnant soul and rise as Negary

Wang Yuan survived as an incomplete remnant soul with no sight or hearing; instead, he possessed a spherical Perception Field that initially reached three meters through open air but barely penetrated solid objects. The thirteen Mutated Crows connected to him supplied the cooling essence needed to keep his soul from dispersing. 2 3

After discovering humans, he learned that death released white vapor. By absorbing it, he gained Vitality Qi, Soul Qi, fragments of memories, emotions, and eventually human language. He used this growth to infect, kill, and dominate the Kexi villagers through pathogens and fear. 4 6 9 14

He established Komoro as his agent, turned the village into a source of experimental subjects, bred and modified pathogens, and intended to exterminate the Kente People for both security and research material. 13 16 17

Wang Yuan later learned that he had no Gusa, or true self/true spirit. His soul was a contaminated remainder of the original Wang Yuan, making his Virus Control ability inherently limited and leaving him unsuitable for higher-world cultivation. He rejected reincarnation through an unborn child because he would rather seek another path than submit to a new true spirit. 21

When offered a chance to become the original Wang Yuan again, he refused. He chose instead to abandon that identity and officially become Negary. 32

Resurrection and the coordinates of Negary's Star

Negary later used information from the original Wang Yuan to resurrect him in the body of a dead Soul-Scorching Flame awakener. The revived Wang Yuan retained human thoughts and regrets, but carried a flame within his soul and became the coordinates of Negary's Star. 648 654

The New Trinity Organization hunted him because his existence could threaten Negary's seal. Wang Yuan escaped repeated attempts on his life, often aided by improbable chains of accidents, and briefly allied with Zhu Ping during one escape. 647 648 651

After comprehending more of Negary's nature and his own mutable innate state, Wang Yuan awakened the authority of Negary's Dream. He stopped fleeing, defeated the Flame Extinguishers, survived Iron Mask's attacks, and rapidly developed his own martial arts through combat. 654 655 656

Appearance

After resurrection, Wang Yuan initially appeared as a sunny, ordinary-looking young man around 1.75 meters tall. The awakening of Negary's Dream and his Innately Unfixed Body transformed him into a far more imposing figure. 647 655 657

As a remnant soul, he became obsessed with strength and domination because he viewed weakness as the cause of his own suffering. He deliberately absorbed memories and emotions from the dead in an attempt to reshape his personality, recognizing that he remained careless, easily carried away by success, and fundamentally ordinary. 5 8 9

The resurrected Wang Yuan is more optimistic and recognizably human than Negary, though he remains conflicted by their shared origin. He feels guilt over misleading Zhu Ping, resents being treated as a disposable coordinate, and chooses to face danger himself rather than rely entirely on outside rescue. 648 650 651

His later growth centers on developing independent judgment. Rather than blindly preserving an inherited idea of kindness or justice, he seeks to decide for himself what is worth protecting and pursuing. 578
