Background / History

Qian Renxue is Bibi Dong's daughter and bears Qian Xunji's bloodline. Her mother’s trauma surrounding Qian Xunji leaves Bibi Dong unable to face her properly, while Qian Renxue grows up longing for maternal affection under Qian Daoliu and the Consecrated Hall’s protection. Her pride and sharpness initially serve as a defense against that abandonment. 1 11 16 51

When Bibi Dong brings Fang Mo into the Pope Palace as her personal disciple, Qian Renxue sees him receiving the attention, room, resources, and soul-beast hunt she had always wanted from her mother. She confronts and threatens him, convinced that he is taking her place at Bibi Dong’s side. 11 16

Her outlook changes after she meets Spirit Dong'er beneath the Silver-Leaf Wutong. Dong'er, a remnant soul connected to Bibi Dong, apologizes for the neglect Qian Renxue endured and assures her that Bibi Dong’s avoidance was not her fault. When Qian Renxue discovers that Dong'er is Fang Mo’s humanoid martial soul, she chooses to approach Fang Mo so she can see her mother again. 20 22 23

Personality

Qian Renxue initially presents herself as arrogant, demanding, and territorial. Her hostility toward Fang Mo is rooted less in malice than in fear: she believes that Bibi Dong’s attention is limited and that Fang Mo is replacing her. 11 12 16

After learning of Dong'er's love and regret, she becomes steadier, gentler, and more willing to trust others. She begins visiting the training grounds, forms genuine connections with the Golden Generation, and gradually comes to rely on Fang Mo as both a confidant and a bridge to Dong'er. 24 25

Despite her privileged position, Qian Renxue is protective of ordinary people and willing to act against abuse of power. In Heaven Dou City, she stops Xue Beng’s runaway carriage to protect pedestrians, then accepts Tang Yuehua’s advice to de-escalate the conflict. 101 102
