Over in Suotuo City, Retsu Unohana and Grimmjow had visited the Suotuo City Grand Soul Arena a total of 312 times over the past year.

After training in the Soul Hunting Forest, Retsu Unohana successfully advanced to Level 21.

She and Grimmjow participated in Soul Grandmaster-level Soul Master duels.

In every duel, they sought to kill their opponents!

The Soul Masters they fought ranged from Level 21 Soul Masters at the beginning to Level 29 Soul Masters later on, with even Soul Elders above Level 30 among them.

They entered one solo match and one doubles match each day—three matches a day, four opponents.

The second was Kurosaki Isshin, former captain of the Tenth Division, whose Zanpakuto was Engetsu.
