Gray recruited Vegapunk and Caesar into Fairy Tail and freed Stussy from her undercover role, then learned about the World Government’s Pluton project and Vegapunk’s failed attempt to replicate Devil Fruits. The group headed back to discuss the research, with Gray asking to see the replicated Azure Dragon Fruit.

• Gray promised to protect Baldimore and offered Vegapunk and Caesar resources and freedom to research, and both joined Fairy Tail.
• Gray moved Punk Hazard toward Sky Island, and Vegapunk revealed that Stussy had infiltrated the CPO to help him escape.
• Vegapunk told Stussy she was free to leave the World Government, and Gray invited her to join Fairy Tail; she accepted the offer but postponed deciding what she would do next.
• Caesar revealed that the World Government had ordered him and Vegapunk to build Pluton using the blueprints and to replicate Devil Fruits.
• Vegapunk explained that his replica of Kaido’s Azure Dragon Fruit turned its user pink and could not Awaken, and Gray asked to see the finished fruit.

Gray took Vegapunk’s Azure Dragon Fruit replica and brought Vegapunk and Caesar to Fairy Tail’s Sky Island base before leaving for the North Blue. In his absence, Monet’s group encountered Germa 66, and the chapter ended as Judge’s three sons attacked Fairy Tail despite his attempt to stop them.

• Gray took Vegapunk’s Devil Fruit replica and ordered him to restart replication research, with the Dwarves assisting and funding provided for at least five replicas each month.
• Gray brought Caesar and Vegapunk to Fairy Tail’s Sky Island base, where they examined the White-White Sea before Gray left for the North Blue.
• Monet’s group encountered Germa 66, whose emotionless clone soldiers attacked them; Hancock, Monet, and Enel fought back while Monet hurried to protect Vinsmoke Reiju.
• Reiju recognized Fairy Tail’s members and went to fetch Judge after Monet told her the attackers’ actions had provoked them.
• Judge came out with Reiju and his sons, but Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji donned their Raid Suits and charged at Enel and the others as Judge tried to stop them.

Enel and Monet forced Judge to accept a trial for Germa 66 and brought Reiju into Fairy Tail, while Imu prepared to rebuild the World Government’s strength. Gray later turned away from the world’s conflicts, and after Imu’s death he led Fairy Tail toward the Moon to pursue further exploration.

• Enel struck down Niji, Yonji, and Ichiji, and Judge begged Fairy Tail to spare Germa 66.
• Monet offered Germa 66 a chance to join Fairy Tail if it mapped the North Blue’s resource islands within six months, and Judge agreed to send Reiju to Fairy Tail’s main base.
• The Five Elders apologized to Imu, who accepted their explanation of Gray’s power and ordered the clans’ Devil Fruit vaults opened in preparation for a future attack.
• Gray returned to Green Bit, approved Monet’s handling of Germa 66, and considered helping Reiju obtain the Venom-Venom Fruit after she proved herself.
• Gray traveled with Fairy Tail, found Pure Gold with Baccarat’s help, and later watched the Straw Hat Pirates challenge the World Government while staying out of the conflict.
• After Imu died and Luffy’s lifespan was greatly shortened, Gray took Fairy Tail’s remaining members to the Moon to build a second base and pursue interstellar exploration.
