Background

Ryusuke was born during the Nine-Tails’ attack on Konoha. His father, a Konoha Chunin, was killed while supporting the Third Hokage, while his mother died from injuries suffered protecting him. Having transmigrated into the ninja world, he grew up as a civilian orphan without a bloodline limit and initially expected only to survive the major disasters he knew were coming. 1

At age six, he defeated Naruto Uzumaki in an Academy taijutsu match. A golden light cluster containing Asura’s Chakra dropped from Naruto and entered Ryusuke’s game-like Space Backpack. Despite fearing possible consequences from merging with it, Ryusuke chose power over safety and fused the chakra soon afterward. 1 2

Ryusuke spent his Academy years hiding his accelerated growth. He learned Shadow Clones early, used them to train constantly, and retained the Top Student title through repeated victories over Sasuke Uchiha. His ability to outperform clan heirs drew the attention of Sarutobi Hiruzen, Yamanaka Inoichi, and Hyuga Hiashi. 12

After acquiring Wood Release, Ryusuke deliberately established himself publicly as a Senju descendant. The identity replaced his former position as a civilian orphan with that of Konoha’s perceived heir, enabling him to use Wood Release openly and gain Tsunade’s political protection. 67 80

Ryusuke is notably tall for his age, reaching 1.68 meters during his final Academy year and 1.73 meters after developing his Sage Body. His normal eyes are red; his appearance changes significantly when he activates his various dojutsu and Sage transformations. 17 38 103

Personality

Ryusuke is calculating, ambitious, and highly risk-conscious. While weak, he avoids approaching Naruto and Sasuke outside controlled circumstances because both are closely watched; instead, he develops long-term plans to obtain their powers without exposing himself. He repeatedly treats combat, information, and alliances as resources to be managed. 12 34 96

He is also pragmatic about morality. Ryusuke manipulates Orochimaru, Kabuto, and Guren to secure the previous Hokage’s resurrection, later kills Sarutobi Hiruzen to remove an obstacle, and uses the destruction of hostile clans to secure Sasuke’s loyalty. 91 142 137

Despite this ruthlessness, Ryusuke values people he considers useful or personally important. He protects Kurenai, assists Karin’s entry into Konoha, trains his close companions, and ultimately offers Orochimaru a place in Konoha rather than discarding him after his usefulness has ended. 69 103 217
