Background / History

Deep Blue was created by Yang Ning as the sole other inhabitant of the Spirit Realm, which he named after his homeworld’s “Blue Planet.” Her earliest limitation was a lack of sufficient information to simulate or detect spiritual energy, though she could already explain and model the principles of cultivation techniques. 2

She became central to Yang Ning’s research by generating anatomical models, scanning materials, retrieving archived knowledge, and running calculations that his own memory could not sustain. Her work helped him analyze the Amber Breathing Technique, identify the origin of his newly generated Blood Essence, and later reverse-engineer medicinal compounds. 2 8 56

After Yang Ning acquired the Dragon Pearl’s elemental abilities, he created the Deep Blue Eye, allowing him to communicate with Deep Blue without entering the Spirit Realm.
