Beneath Lake of Life.
Di Tian furrowed his brow, staring intently at the Light Screen.
He was afraid he'd gotten it wrong.
"Could this Gu Yuena mentioned on the Light Screen really be our lord?"
Di Tian murmured, his voice weighed down by an indescribable restlessness.
"But our lord is clearly the leader of the Soul Beast Clan. Two thousand years from now, shouldn't she be leading us in an invasion of the Divine Realm?"
With his hands clasped behind his back, he paced back and forth along the bottom of the lake.
"How could she possibly get involved with a human? And, on top of that, willingly?"
Xiong Jun grumbled from the side:
"Maybe it's just someone with the same name. The footage playing on this Light Screen is mainly focused on that Dai Yun'er girl."
"You can't tell who the others are."
King of Ten Thousand Monsters nodded as well and offered his analysis. "Xiong Jun is probably right. How could the Gu Yuena mentioned on this Light Screen possibly be our lord?"
"Our lord's duty is to lead the entire Soul Beast Clan to rise again. Two thousand years from now—judging by the timeline, her injuries should have almost healed by then."
He paused, his tone carrying a matter-of-fact contempt.
"With her status and power, would she take a liking to some human boy?"
"And would she do that sort of thing with a human boy? Most likely, it's just a coincidence that they share a name."
"No matter how foolish our lord might be, she couldn't possibly be that foolish."
After hearing the two of them out, Di Tian still felt a little uneasy.
It was an ominous premonition he couldn't quite put into words, like a fine needle lodged in his chest—impossible to pull out, impossible to ignore.
But after thinking it over, their reasoning did make sense.
Although he had a bad feeling, he had no proof.
Di Tian sighed, his voice sounding as though he were trying to convince himself.
"Let's hope so. Our lord shouldn't be that foolish."
"After all, as the Silver Dragon King, our lord possesses the Dragon God's astounding wisdom!"

Eastsea Academy.
Tang Wulin rubbed his head. He really was a little uncertain.
"Could that Tang Wulin mentioned on the Light Screen actually be me, and not just someone with the same name?"
He murmured, a complicated mix of emotions flashing in his eyes. "My physique is indeed pretty strong. It fits the description on the Light Screen."
"Did I grow stronger in the future by focusing on training my body?"
After thinking it over, Tang Wulin decided that was certainly possible.
At that thought, his mood immediately brightened.
"If that's really the case, doesn't that mean I can still become a top Soul Master in the future?"
He continued, the corners of his mouth unconsciously lifting into a slight smile.
But soon, his expression turned strange again.
"But the future revealed by this Light Screen says I'll do that sort of thing with this Gu Yuena?"
"Is she my future wife?"
Tang Wulin's face flushed slightly.
"I don't know what she's like, but since she was willing to cooperate with me to save my life, she must be a pretty good person, right?"
Gu Yuena, Gu Yuena.
He kept murmuring her name, as if savoring the taste of each syllable.
"She has the character 'Na' in her name too. Why do I feel like she might be connected to Na'er?"
Tang Wulin's eyes dimmed.
"I wonder where Na'er went."
He let out a long sigh, unable to tell whether he felt anticipation or sadness.

Star Luo Royal Family.
Dai Yun'er was just as terrified.
She was focused on the future version of herself exposed on the Light Screen.
So terrified that she could barely stand, she muttered in disbelief:
"Is that really going to be me?"
"How could this be? I'm a princess, for goodness' sake. How could I use such a trick to steal a man in the future?"
She paced back and forth, clutching her head with both hands.
"And it's so humiliating! I spent the whole night under the bed. I could cry!"
Dai Yun'er suddenly stopped, her face deathly pale.
"And Father is definitely going to punish me later! I've brought shame upon the entire Star Luo Royal Family!"
I'm doomed! I'm doomed!
She kept pacing, afraid of being punished, her mind in utter chaos as she struggled to figure out what to do.
Suddenly, anger surged up from the bottom of her heart.
"This is all Tang Wulin's fault!"
She cursed:
"If I fall for him in the future, it must be his fault. Maybe he'll brainwash me or control me someday."
"Damn it!"
Her teeth ground together.
"Shrek Academy. Tang Wulin, right?"
"Just you wait, you hear me? If I run into you someday, I'll teach you a good lesson!"
Today's Sharp Critique had come to an end, but its aftereffects had not.
Because of Dai Yun'er, the Star Luo Royal Family had been utterly disgraced.
The next day, the Star Luo Emperor directly announced that Dai Yun'er would be confined to her quarters and that a top-notch husband would be selected for her.
As for the Soul Beasts and Tang Wulin, neither side was much affected. After all, no one had confirmed who Gu Yuena was.
Before long, the next day arrived.
