Appearance

Thunder Dragons are formed when heavenly lightning condenses into draconic shapes within tribulation clouds. Their appearance and destructive pressure intensify with the tribulation’s level.

• Thick, dragon-shaped bodies formed from purple, silver, or purple-black lightning.
• Distinct scales, claws, and a maw; early manifestations are described with blood-red mouths and destructive silver electricity. 5
• Higher-level forms are enormous enough to dominate the sky, with lightning flowing between their scales. 51 85
• Their arrival causes widespread environmental damage, including trembling forests, shattered terrain, and violent energy storms. 37 38 85

Heavenly Lightning Assault

A Thunder Dragon dives directly from tribulation clouds toward its designated target, delivering concentrated heavenly lightning.

• Its lightning can shatter Lan Lingcang's Blue Silver Overlord Spear and destroy his Blue Silver Grass defensive barrier. 5
• The dragons’ attacks inflict severe burns, puncture wounds, and widespread bodily damage even on powerful soul beasts. 38 51
• A 300,000-year tribulation’s Thunder Dragon kills Mad Blade Douluo, Crushing Rock Douluo, and another Titled Douluo after piercing through them. 38

Escalating Tribulation Sequence

Tribulations produce successive Thunder Dragons, each stronger than the previous strike.
